@ J_Roc - Most of the time he was wearing extremely thick makeup, burn victim makeup and theatre makeup to cover up the spots. He was doin this when he was dark also. You can see it in the pics at the grammys; you can see the different shades of dark makeup. Yeah its something you're born with but it gets worse as you get older. My nephew has it, but it didn't appear until he was 12.

Vitiligo is a real disease that many people suffer from. My cousin, a dark puerto rican, has it I'd say not horribly bad but extremely noticeable. All over his back, arms and even splotches on his face. Now there are treatments where a person can even their tone out if they choose. I just love how all you people think you have the right to judge someone. Walk a mile in ones shoes THEN SPEAK.
Vitiligo manifests in different degrees..some only have it a few areas and some lose pigment all over depending on the severity. He may have used the brown "pancake" cosmetic to hide it until he couldn't then switched to a lighter shade. After a while I only saw the "Thriller" Michael anyway. Past time to let that issue go-

I always wondered about his nose. That [EXPLETIVE] [EXPLETIVE] me up but his skin tone was devoid of any color at all and I knew someone that had that [EXPLETIVE]. I saw a show that said that it was easier to take the pigment out the skin rather than to add pigment to the skin. Who cares? He still the best that ever did it! The best! Rest in peace I always beleived in him. I knew he never molested any children either.

Mequinol leaves the skin looking extremely pale however, tanning is still possible. Monobenzone applied topically completely removes pigment in the long term and vigorous sun-safety needs to be adhered to for life.

Feeling harshly offended made him realize that he needed to have it change, plus if you look at some photos of Michael as a teen you'll notice that his natural nose did look a bit off which made him uncomfortable. As for his hair, he faced an accident back in the 80's during his pepsi commercial which lead to a permanent bald spot. He wore wigs to disguise the result of that accident.

I count two black women and three minor white children. No white woman ------- We should be counting ...2 black women and 3 black children..but that's a new subject matter entirely. Of all the photos of MJ all these years, I've never seen one that showed obvious vitiligo like these. Probability of Photoshop: exremely likely. As far as his skin condition goes, it was obvious.I am a black woman and I personally know a few black ppl who would do anything to lighten their skin and I have seen those with bleached skin as well as those with vitiligo. no matter how hard you try 2 bleach your skin, it will never be that white because of melanin in your skin it would give you a reddish sunburnt appearance,not completely white,like Mike's.that only occurs when the cells that produce melanin die or unable to function.Before u continue to criticize this poor, misunderstood sweet man, do your friggin homework!! Yeah that can definitely have an effect on self esteem. I saw a news anchor, who was really dark skin, talk about his vitiligo. He said it started in his hand. Once he started to take off the make up that matched his natural skin tone, he had huge white patches in places where it should have been brown.He says he thinks this is why MJ began wearing the glove. B/C his vitiligo may have started in his hand too.

These diseases explain his skin color change, his hair (wig), his surgery, the pain killing drugs, the white glove, the band-aids on his fingers, his masks and some of his so-called "weird" behavior.
He probably never had many relationships because he was SICK and didn’t want anyone to be close enough to see his skin without clothes or know his real PAIN.
