Prince's look hasn't changed much at all in 25 years, so he's been wearing this style long before Rhianna came along stealing everyone's look and getting credit for being "original" because her demographic is too young to know any better. Prince still looks good; his music is good, but I think it's suffered from his troubles with his record company, he won't promote his music, and now he's all PG instead of NC-17.
