After losing his mother a friend of mine went on a drinking binge for almost a year, was depression and did a few things that were out of character for him so in some ways I understand Kanye. I just hopes he takes a long look at himself and gets it together. Hopefully the backlash he's getting will wake him up.

IF this is true, he needs too for the simple fact that he really didn't mourn the loss of his mother. Kanye and his mother were close. They were more than just mother & son, they were friends and he confided in her and since he's lost that only support system he's not himself- well he is but he's not. Grief is complex, and affects everyone differently. He may have been a character before, but it worsened after his Mom's death. It's NO JOKE to lose a parent. The healing process is brutal.I hope that if Kanye's behavior was due to his Mom, he grieves and gets the prayer he needs.
