He was beat up, and suggests or contends that he was defending himself in a fair fight. If no weapons were used, and it was a fist fight, i would tend to AGREE with him.Older people should never fight! Your bones and injuries do not heal as well as two teen boys fighting. So, he very well could have fractured a rib, caused heart palpatations to become irregular, or a mild concussion.So, in fact, when you fight someone, you contribute to your demise. Again, this was not an ATTACK, but a one on one fight, according to news reports.So, in my oppinion,Rest in peace may not apply in this case.If you live by the sword, you die by the sword. The heart is racing and the blood pressue escalates as you fight, wrestle, curse and throw blows with a 43 year old 200 plus pound man, and you are only all of 150 pounds. AJ also appeared to be short. At any rate, he pitted himself, his age, and maybe drugs or alcohol against something that led to death.
In the interest of fairness, i will say that Fredericks should at least be charged with INVOLUNTARY manslaughter. But to charge him with manslaughter, in a one on one fight, in which he may have been DEFENDING himself is simply not fair.
