First of all, I am happy for her. She looks happy and excited, so Congrats.
Oooohhh, I hate to be catty, but here goes. As for the wedding outfits, I get the retro look and the men and the bridesmaids pulled it off superbly. The brides dress is not flattering at all. I've seen pictures of OLD weddings and there were many nice dresses. But that could be her mom's so, maybe for the sentimental value, it was worth it.
OMG what a horrible wedding. I love Laura Winslow and have wondered about her for years. She look horrible to me and the entire wedding is awful. The bridesmaid dresses are atrocious!! I know Im awful for saying all of this but its just my opinion. Im from the south too, Georgia to be exact but not everyone is country and/or ghetto hahahaha. I guess I expected more but then again why did I expect anything at all?????

At any rate, sometimes we forget that all the material stuff in the world does not mean you are experiencing true happiness. from the looks of these pictures, love is in the air and to me, they actually look very nice and elegant. I love the outfits for the bridesmaids! Yes, we all get older with each passin year so she wont continue to look like she did on family matters, yet, she is still holding true to chocolate beauty

This is tacky and her dress is hideous and everything on those pictures is awful!! But then it hit me, thats the look she was going for, God only knows why!! If I were getting married, I would not chose Laura's gown nor would my bridesmaids be caught dead in that attire. But hey, the most important thing is that she is HAPPY on her day. Happiness is priceless and it goes a long way. Congrats to Laura & her new hubby!! She has the look on her face that I would like to have when/if I ever get married.

i was married to a brown skin blackwoman who let her cousins tell were she was too married cause they envied our house,cars etc cause we were climbing out the hood for our kids i was engaged to a dark skin sista who just couldn't get her sheet together before that and now i"m married to a "redbone" so maybe if the chocalate and carmel sisters get they sheet together and stop wanting thugs and wannbe gangsters we would not "go there"

btw, people who spend thousands on their weddings end up divorced w/n a year. They spend too much time on the wedding and not the marriage. I say keep it modest and classy.

Statisically speaking the majority of the population that is overweight are low to moderate income as they consume large portions of the most unhealthest foods i.e. fast food, processed foods. Also put weight on 4 variety of reasons she cud be pregnant or just not focused on her physique.

Ya'll some hating @ss broads. If you read the article it said they had over 300 folks. Not to mention they got married in the Washington DC area. I don't care where you are but DC ain't cheap and 300 folks is gonna cost. Their food (reception) probably cost more than most of ya'll broke @sses make in a year. As long as they happy, so be it. Some folks just need to hate to make themselves feel good. When ya'll get married post your pics so we can see how cheap it is.
I agree she does look really happy. I hope they have a long, happy, healthy marriage. I used to want her hair when she was on Family Matters, but right now her hairstyle looks age appropriate for a 45 year old. I know I'm a jerk for saying that. I know she's younger than that, maybe she has a really corporate job or something. Her hubby has a totally old school first name, I wonder if he was named after someone. Well wishes to both!
I just read the article and it makes me want to cry. It was so sweet. I wish them the best. I wish I could be ok with being single. I've been in too many situations where I felt used and just took it because lonliness is hell. I probably will be a "spinster", and won't be ok with it. Kellie Williams has a good head on her shoulders. I wish her the best.
