: Last week when every news source in the world (including TMZ, CNN and the Atlanta Journal Constitution) were telling you that Kandi from the Atlanta Housewives’ ex-fiance AJ Jewell was beaten to death – it was ONLY MediaTakeOut.com that told you that there was more to the story.
We told you guys that according to OUR insiders (who are not lawyers or pr folk - who are paid to LIE – but actual family members), AJ likely dies from something OTHER than a beating.
Now, the media is starting to figure out what we already knew. Here’s what E! News is saying:
The preliminary autopsy results are in, and there was a surprising finding regarding the slaying of Real Housewives of Atlanta's Ashley "A.J." Jewell.Told ya so . . .Dr. Kelly Rose of the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office tells E! News that Kandi Burruss' on-off fiancé may have suffered from the blood disorder sickle-cell anemia, which could have contributed to his death during a bar fight outside an Atlanta strip club.
"Preliminary results are suggestive of [sickle-cell]," said Rose.
The show last night was eerie because there A.J. was and you know he's dead. But it was also one of the best episodes of the season because Momma Burris was not having it. And with all due respect to A.J's family I felt just like Momma Burris did. There was just something wrong about him that I couldn't put my finger on. Dude seemed like a hustler and user. I dated a guy like that before and AJ reminds me of him.
RIP AJ. I agreed with Kandi's mom, Kandi can do so much better. I know it's not for me to say, but just a feeling about AJ. He came off as a hustler on the grind and not necessarily in a positive or legit way...I'm sure Mrs. Burris did not wish any ill-will on AJ...she said she liked him as a person, but just did not want him with her daughter. AJ's death was very sad, unfortunate and seemed to be due to his life style. There was already so much tension..dont thing Kandi was going to marry him anyway.
Well I dont know about that. I lost three brothers to Sickle Cell Anemia. An older brother, my twin brother and a younger brother. Sickle Cell causes alot of pain and alot of other issues but I dont know about this one. Then again neither of my brothers ever got beat up . This is a sad story regardless.
if aj was in a sickelcell crises, there is NO WAY he could have been fighting, he would have been in TOO MUCH PAIN! he may have had a crises and died later but not while he was fighting no way!black folks should know this.if that is the way he died than that other guy should not be in jail! i wounder how kandis mother feels! to me it seems she got her wish.i know thats a [EXPLETIVE] up thing to say, but if yall seen last night show , yall will know what im saying!
neeceecole you are absolutely right about that. When you are in a crisis you cant even move let alone fight. Ive watched my brothers cry while in a crisis. Some ppl are so clueless about this disease and just in general. And yes I really wonder if Kandis mom feels bad or relieved!! She was awful about it and watching it last night gave me an eery feeling.
@kimkelmor u sound VERY smart.my 28year old had the trait also but she didnt die from that she died from the flesh eatind bacteria,but that is another story.my best girlfriend had sickell cell and she would be in so much pain when she had a crises that she became addicted to dope and demrol and od and died, it is aterrible dease and we as black people need to learn more about it!and if i dont get off this site right now my boss is gonna killme lol! nice talking to you.
Even if thats true dude should still go to jail for Aj's death. He should've never put his hands on him and he gets what he deserve's. I dont feel sorry for him and I hope he Never gets out. I read Kandi and Aj's story in Sister 2 Sister magizine yesterday and I just wished they wouldve worked out cause they made a beautiful couple. Aj's family in friends are in my prayers cause even when I watch The show now im very sadden because how they were all downing him and now his life is gone because of some Bs.I just think people should look past all the kids he has and remember the good things.
CWPiggy no thats not right!! Maybe some people with Sickle Cell has what you described but Ive never seen anyone with square shaped shoulders. And only one of my three brothers actually looked sick but thats b/c he had a more severe case of Sickle Cell. My twin and my older brother actually looked very normal and you would never ever know they had it until they had a crisis. One lived to be 33, the other 28 and the other 22! So it varies and differs.
AJ was [suspiciously] AJ. But that control-freak mother and weak-willed daughter have the sickest relationship and deserve each other. Kandi didn’t NEED her mom to COSIGN her desire for this man. Kandi & AJ coulda boned out and headed for quick-nuptials Vegas, leaving the HARD mother to console herself with a feather duster, lol. Kandi wouldn’t make a good wife, though. Her mother’s tentacles run too deep.

MTO is so uneducated and ignorant. Sickle cell does not kill you instantly like that. If he died from sickle cell he would have been in pain crisis prior to that. There's is no evidence that before he died that he had any history of being hospitalized for sickle cell pain crisis. So he may just have the trait. You all ought to be embarrassed. More than likely it was the beat down that took his life.
MTO yall negras kill me... i said this so long ago. But i give yall props i thought you wouldnt figure this out for another week. Apparently he died of a heart attack... and so many people underestimate the powers of sickle cell anemia because you dont know when you have a clot and fighting couldve knocked that clock loose. I have it, and its like being a ticking time bomb... you just never know.
