Yes this can happen as an allergic reaction with any hair dye, it happen to a friend of mine. And the longer you wait to seek treatment the worse the skin damage. You can run a fever and breathing can be effected.
Although once treatment is started it usually starts working, although gradually. It can take several days for the antibiotics to reverse the damage from the reaction to the chemical dye. |

Man this happened to me about 11 years ago, when I tried to be cheap and dye my hair with Ms. Clairol, well the only thing that I can tell you is I looked like that beast on Martin. My face was swollen, I had hives, and my boyfriend was looking at me JUST like Gina was looking at Martin when he was all swoll up asking for a kiss. That was some funny s/h/i/t, but I NEVER put any other dyes in my hair after that, not only that, those chemicals in dyes cause cancer. All the dye has to do is touch your face, when a strand of hair falls on your face. Dyes are SERIOUS! My face was swollen 4 4 Days. |

the reason it got from her head to her face is because she had an alergic reaction to the dye. this happens a lot thats why you are supposed to do a 24 hour patch test before you color your hair. i can't use color on my hair anymore cuz 2 years ago i had a reaction that caused the right side of my face to swell. i was put on steriods and the swelling went down in about 3 days. The woman in the pic and the woman on my job had severe alergic reactions. |

the box legally warns about those kinda reactions bein possible. we don't really think about the chemicals we use regularly. everything from dye n makeup to deordorant n scents have diffenrent sh.it in them that could be harmful. that's why cancer autism n other medical conditions have spiked so much n recent decades even if u don't have a bad initial reaction |
