: A few days ago MediaTakeOut.com showed you videotaped footage of Akon dancing very suggestively with a 14 year old Trinidadian girl named Deena (see footage below). Yesterday Deena's father, the esteemed Pastor Dave Alleyne of Trinidad, came forward to denounce Akon's behavior. According to the Pastor, his innocent daughter was "taken advantage of" by the African hip hop star.
But today, MediaTakeOut.com exclusively got a hold of some pics of Deena that suggest that she may not have been as innocent as Paster Alleyne is claiming. In the below pics, Deena is shown willingly participating in the "grind session" with Akon. And in a few of the pics, the young lady doesn't appear to be wearing any clothes.

MediaTakeOut.com was able to speak to a law enforcement official in Port Of Spain, Trinidad who claims that they are exploring whether to press criminal charges against Akon. She is fourteen, it is developmentally appopropriate for her to be acting this way, now I'm not saying she's not wrong because she is but who wasn't out of control at 14? This is the generally the age where you start your journey to find yourself and start asserting your independence. Especially when it comes to your body and your sexuality. However, I do agree that the parents need to take the blame for this because there is no way a 14 year old should be out of the house with no adult supervision at 1 in the morning. That's just negligent. And it's only such a big deal because he is a pastor a it's affecting his reputation. This should serve as a warning to parents everywhere that you really have to watch your children because they are going to do stupid and crazy things but in this day and age with all this technology they can't afford to make the stupid mistakes that we made. while i was stunned at how rough Akon was with the girl on stage , i also noticed that she attempted to get a grip around his body with her legs. i grew up living with a pastor for a grandma and not the reverse. mom was strict as possible without making me a nun. i've been to concerts without my parents but i have never thought of dressing so provocatively. of course when we are young and shielded from certain lifestyles we rebel and do things that are disrespectful to ourselves and our families. but one thing for certain and two things for sure my mom would have tore my a** up if she got word of how i dressed like a slut or acted like a stripper for all the world to see. I was downtown Saint Paul one day and while waiting on my boyfriend to pull the car around, I witnessed 2 high school girls who had to be no more than 15 years old. In their crew was about 6 guys, same age. One of the girls allowed each guy to play with her private parts in broad daylight and thought that it was cool. I didn't call her a hoe, I just called her young and lost.

Ok...I have a few issues with this incident. Being the parent of a 15 year old son, I can see both sides. First of all, she was TOO young to be at an Akon concert in the first place. Second, apparently her parents weren't aware of his music or what he sings about. On the other side of that, this is no different from when anyone who grew up listening to hip hop in the 80's would DIE if we didn't get to a concert. You lied about the content or performers to get there. This will NOT change. Third, yes her parents are at fault for not keeping a closer eye on her or sending her chaperoned if she won a "contest" but...again...on the flip side - with MySpace and all the websites (which is what struck me with those pics)the kids are on..this is not unusual. I'm not condoning or condemning... BabyGirl needs a hug.
Once I heard the story, I automatically started siding with her parents but after reviewing the pictures and watched the video I highly disagree with her parents. The girl does not look 14, does not dress like she's 14 or acts like a 14year old. Akon could not have known that girl was 14. As a parent of a 16 year old girl, I make sure that I know where she is going, who she is going and what she is wearing.
