: When rapper 50 Cent first hit the national scene, he shocked fans with claims that he survived being shot 9 times. But in now looks like 50 Cent may have stretched the truth when he described the fateful event.
In a MediaTakeOut.com exclusive, we got our hands on the official police report issued on the shooting. And according to the report, the Queens rapper was shot only 3 times (see below report).
Unfortunately, that's not what 50's been telling everyone. In an interview with hip hop journalist Davey D, done in 2003, 50 was quoted as saying the following:
Davey D: DID YOU REALLY GET SHOT 8 TIMES? 50 Cent: 9 times on May 24, 2000 I got shot… I was in the hospital for like 13 days...and it sounds crazy... it hurted more to not know what I was gonna do with myself AFTER being shot.. like when I called Columbia Records and they didn’t know what to doAnd the gunshot distortion is repeated on 50 Cent's official web page. Here's how Interscope Records describes the shooting incident in 50's bio: "In April of '00, 50 was shot 9 times, including a .9mm bullet to the face, in front of his grandmothers house in Queens. "
I don't believe this cause first of all victim is spelled wrong & secondly a lot of times police reports are not that accurate. I know someone that was *** 12 times but on the police report it said 8. The police don't even touch you on the scene only the hospital would have that information; let us see the hospital papers then I'll believe ya.

Wow... but u know what u can't always belive those published reports. An incident happened with my brother and I was actually a witness to it I got the police report and many details were wrong. So Im not saying 50 is a liar or telling the truth but from expirence police tend to do what will benefit them before what will benefit the victim.
First, the reason I hate 50 in the first place is because he glorifies the fact that he's been ***, and the fact that he survived being *** however many times, like it's a badge of honor and not the grace of God. But as a previous person posted, the reporting officer may have only seen 3 ***. They aren't the medical examiners so they don't actually touch and examine the victim/body - that's not their job. Their job is to report the scene as they see it at the time - that's why there is an initial report and a full report once more detail is available.
Okay, first off...this is MTO, can we believe ANYTHING they post? Second, this is only the first page of the "report"...it says, "vectim was *** 3 times on the right..." That could go on to say, "...3 times on the left, once to the face, 2 times to the abdomen..." Where's the rest of the report MTO??? If you're going to discredit someone, post the entire thing so readers can be informed. And third, this statement is from the driver of the car....not 50. So how does the driver know how many times 50 was ***. There was probably so much blood at the time the driver saw 50, he couldn't tell how many *** he took!!! And who even cares?? actually, it could be real...i had to file a police report a little while ago and several mistakes were in it. it had the location a block away from where it was, and it had me (the victim) listed as a white female...considering i'm about as brown as brown can be, clearly they weren't paying attention when they typed the report

Wow! It's amazing that some people don't think. The report says, *** 3 TIMES ON THE RIGHT....and then it was cut off. Doesn't he have a left side too? Is it possible that he could have been hit there as well? Unfortunately, the report ends abruptly. Also, I didn't see his date of birth, his hair color, eye color, height, weight, etc. Having been a victim of a crime, ALL personal info, including social security numbers are obtained just in case there is someone else out there with the same exact first and last name as mine. This is the same thing that they pulled when they said Beyonce was really 32, and showed what appeared to be a birth certificate. Turns out, that was fraudulent. Furthermore, having been to NYC 5 times, I thought 161st was either the Bronx, or somewhere near there? Didn't know that area was considered Queens. First of all...the entire police report was not posted. The portion that was shown states he was *** 9 times on the right....AND WHERE IS THE REST OF THE REPORT. We don't know whether the next sentence states 6 times on the left. It is ludacris that you edit the report to substantiate your own theory. And for every one believes everything you hear...do your own research! This story is untrue.
If you look at the report they post on here you can see where it tells you to press *** for next meaning there is more to the report. With the type of system this report came from if there wasnt additional information it would not give u the options to expand and next. In anycase, that can not be the full report they are showing on here. You can tell where it say multiple times it starts to mention where the *** were and what they posted on here was cut off at that point not showing the additional information of the report so you cant see where they described the other places the *** landed..
