: Looks like Chris Brown may not be the gentleman that everyone thinks he is. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that a South African actress is claiming to have been in a brief scuffle with Brown - all because she refused to go to his hotel room.
According to a number of witnesses who spoke with MediaTakeOut.com, Chris Brown ran into actress Khanyi Mbau at the launch of The Real Goboza - a South African weekly entertainment show. And it was during that meeting that all the drama ensued.
Khanyi claims that during a conversation with Chris, the R&B singer grabbed her by the arm in an aggressive manner and asked that she go with him to his hotel room. The South African actress explains, "I tried to pull away but his grip was just too tight.”
That's when, according to the lovely actress, her manager came charging to the rescue. Mbau tells, "Malcolm [my manager] had to pull me away from Chris." But even then, the teenage singer wasn't finished with her. The actress adds, "Chris [still] asked if I was sure I did not want to come with him."
And MediaTakeOut.com discovered that this isn't the first public scuffle that Khanyi Mbau has found herself in recent months. The young actress, whom the South African press refer to as the "African Paris Hilton," was recently involved is a hotel brawl with her husband - African billionaire Mandla Mthembu. According to reports, the fight began when Khanyi's husband found some suspicious text messages on her cell phone.

The beautiful lady in the picture is Nonhle Thema, a presenter for a cable network station called Channel O. She was photo'd with Chris when she was in the U.S. doing interviews with some of the musicians for her show called O Access.
And for the record, Chris Brown was indeed here and attended the launch talked about in the article. He met Khanyi Mbau and there was no such incident. On the contrary, Khanyi has been boasting about how well she got along with Chris. Chris was actaully here doing some work for Oprah for her girls school. It was the same week Kelis gave an awesome surpise performance for a Heineken party I went to, just a few days after John Legend gave sterling 3 shows for an HIV/AIDS benefit event called Positive Rocks.

You are partly correct Robii...Khanyi does like attention...although I hate it that all the time when something is said about a certain African country, Africa is just treated as a country. It's a continent people...for example, why would you say Celine Dion is from Canada and not say America...it's the same concept. South africa is a country in Africa, just as Canada is a country in America (whether it's in North America or whatever).

I agree with what Marj said. It is true a lot of black Americans look down on Africans like and do think they over in Africa running around naked living in huts. I used to have this impression of Africans too until I met my boyfriend who happens to be African. His mom is a doctor, his sister is a doctor and he is on his way to getting his master's degree. He owns a bunch of houses in Africa and his family has more money than mine. He has the best work ethic I have ever seen anyone have and he has given me a new view on Africans. People do need to learn about different cultures before they can have an opinion about them.

Khanyisile Mbau punched and scratched her husband, allegedly. Johannesburg socialite Khanyisile Mbau and her sugar-daddy husband, billionaire Mandla Mthembu, have called it quits after a heated marital brawl at last week’s SA Music Awards (Sama).
