NEW INFO!! WHY EVANGELIST JUANITA BYNUM WAS BRUTALLY BEATEN BY PREACHER HUSBAND!!

August 23, 2007. Yesterday, MediaTakeOut.com reported to you that televangelist Juanita Bynum, who has gained a national following with her sermons about women's empowerment, was viciously beaten by her preacher husband in the parking lot of an Atlanta hotel.

According to police, Bynum and her estranged husband, Thomas W. Weeks III (the founder of Global Destiny churches) were supposed to have met at Renaissance Concourse Hotel near Atlanta's airport to try to reconcile.

But at about 4 a.m. things went wrong. The couple began viciously fighting in the parking lot - with Pastor Weeks getting the upper hand. And the fight became so vicious, tells an officer, that a hotel bellman had to "pulled Pastor Weeks off of Ms. Bynum."

After the fight, the same officer claims Juanita was "bruised up and battered" with "purple bruising around her neck and upper torso."

As of last night, no charges had been filed against Pastor Weeks, who fled the scene before police arrived.

And while it's not entirely clear what the couple was fighting about. Some people close to Juanita have reached out to MediaTakeOut.com with their own theories. The insiders all claim that Juanita was upset with her husband's uncomfortably close relationships with a few men in his church.

Bynum, a former homemaker, hairdresser and flight attendant got a break when Bishop T.D. Jakes invited her to speak at one of his conferences several years ago. Her ministry blossomed further after her "No More Sheets" sermon on breaking free of sexual promiscuity at a singles event.

Juanita and her husband were married in 2002 in a televised ceremony that cost more than $1M and was viewed by millions.

Besides them both being Ministers, they are human and we all have our flaws. So, who are you all to say that they were living a lie or they were stealing peoples money to fund their ministry? As for her ministry, it has been a blessing to thousands of women and for this she has been tested and tried. Thus, her situation that no one can speak about. 	Let me break this down a little. Gay men 9/10 of the time gravitate toward stong, assertive women. Many of them are surrounded by these types of women in their families. Look at it.... Star and Al, Terry McMillan and Johnathan, Juanita and this guy. Also, for that matter, very few strong willed men would be able to be with a woman like that because there would be a constant struggle for control. Relationships like that are destined to fail because a strong woman who is able to control her husband in these instances, begin to look at him with disgust because she is able to manipulate and mistreat him. She realizes she doesn't respect him. So she will A)mistreat him more, or B) leave him. If she does A) eventually his testosterone will kick in, his nutz will drop and he will finally put his foot down. Being raised around and influenced by women all of his life, he tends to be somewhat of a feminist as far as womens equal opp, rights, etc go and that old thing no man should ever hit a woman. That is because it has been drilled into his head as he was being emasculated by women. Once he gets enough and this woman is jumping on him, then he realizes it's not okay to just hit and abuse a woman, but if she attacks me it IS okay to get this bish offa me.... 	call it a hunch, but i just told some friends of mine that i thought he was gay. when i went to their church, he acted very, very male friendly and touchy, feely. She is not a stupid or dumb woman. she has been beaten before, she has done drugs, and went on wild sex outings in her past. I love this woman to death. 	I've been going to Bishop Weeks church before and after he married her in DC. I can "almost" assure you that he's not "How You Doing". Actually quite the opposite. He's da ladiesh Man cuz he luvs da ladies too dam much. That's his problem, he likes too much coochie way too much. That's why he and his first wife divorced. Juanita since their marriage has lived on the West Coast and he lived on the East. Because of his church they only were together about 2 to 3 days a week. He slighly changed his church over (unbeknownst to the congregration) to a "school" which gave him more time to spend with her. He used to talk about how much of a temper she had and how she used to break stuff up during their many arguments. He also added how he handled the arguments in a pussie fashion giving in to her. Everytime she came to the church she preached a major word but was otherwise negative in everything else. I was majorly turned on by her preaching but turned off by anything else she said. That being said, I guess he had enough of her shyte and decided to clock her azz for being so negative. 	It's interesting that 6 churches in Louisianna where contacted to help set up a protest for the young men facing prison time for this racial incident. Only 1 church actually stoop up for these boys. The other churches ".....didn't want to get involved....". Now what kind of shyte is dat. 	People kill me when they say "That is why I don't go to church". Obviously you are not going to church for the wrong reasons. Church is not for the pastor, for a fashion show, or to find a date. It is for worshiping God and fellowshipping with other believers. If can't look past the man and see what God has to tell you then maybe your faith is not as strong as it should be. I go to a church with about 200 middle class member. Our preach is pretty well off, but I can honestly tell you that it is not because of us. He teaches Bible college and he has other investment. There are a lot of good pastors out there, but we only seem to want to focus on the bad ones. That is what kills me about people. Always celebrating negativity and positivity.

Note: Everybody that preach ain't anointed and is called BY GOD. With that said, the anointing does not call you to attack your wife. PERIOD. 	MSsmith- No i live in n. california & i go to Love Center in Oakland. its the church ran by the gospel singers Walter & Edwin Hawkins. its an excellent church today & the spirit is STRONG there but back in the 80's & 90's it had a notorious gay reputation that was so raw that even now they still are trying to live it down. but even they will tell you it was some mess going on back then & they needed to clean it up & they did. they got rid of alot of members/pastors & stopped preaching "once saved, always saved" messages that made people think they could live anyway they wanted & got back to the bible. im glad they have changed & have moved far away from all that. now its a really good church that im proud to say i go to. but yea alot of the people who went there back in its wild days are now either completely celibate or have gotten married. & honestly i think some of the women know--because many of them were there then too.

	Pretty..to tell the truth when I was a kid singing with James and the gang, Tramaine and the Hawkins were the only ones living what they sang about to my 10 year old understanding. After the shows they were not seen out smoking and drinking and hitting on everything with a pulse. I don't know why folks are mad at me it was my experience. We all have them. I love the Hawkins they along with the Clark Sisters shaped gospel music to what it is today. When O Happy Day and You bought the Sunshine came out both groups got thrown out of the church and were told they were going to hell and they are tame compared to Kirk Franklin and what is out now. We as Black People have been so attacked in life by ALL sides that Church was the one thing that gave us a semblance of hope no matter how corrupt its operation and when that is threatened some of us get annoyed... we prefer to cover our eyes and pretend its not happening which is also the problem with black suicide rates, mental illness, incest and molestation. How many times have we falsely hears ok black folks dont kill themself, black folks dont commit incest thats white folks .. and its a lie ... years ago if a child sis tell someone they were molested, the child was either whipped, called a liar, not believed, or the incident was swept under the rug and as the victimizer continues to do the same to other children .. we are already sensitive because of racism and the slave past and the fact we have to prove ourselves in ever facet of life in the US and anytime anything negative or that we perceive as such is brought to light we feel all black should say nothing and participate in the cover up as if we are all in a secret house HELLO ... When a clergy member is exposed that doesBient damage the body of christ it strengthens it because it cleanses it of the devilment that was among is .. but some cant see that ... you should just let it go and continue to indulge their wrong because somehow people have convinced themselves that that are a clergy memeber so go will forgive them and they can get a pass and KEEP doing it while tellign us to do the opposite ... God could gather all the animals but they could NOT all be placed on the ark .. 	To all who wish to answer(considering I never got an answer from a previous post) I pose these questions to Christians who talk down upon those who don't believe in the manner in which you do. First off who wrote the bible and please don't say inspired men of God; anyone can be or say they are inspired. Do you know anything about who King James was, meaning the life he led, what were his view about Blacks? Have any of you heard of the Council of Nicaea? Please look it up if you don't. Is the Bible the infallable word of GOD? If you say yes please answer the following. If you start at the end of the bible and go back to the creation story it only accounts for 6000 yrs, but we know through science the earth is approximately 8.5 billion years old. Why is there such a huge discrepancy on the Bible part? If Adam and Eve where the first people, and the had two sons one of which was murdered by his brother, where did Cain(the living brother) find his wife? Either it was his sister and it was incest or there were other people GOd forgot to mention. Oh and my last question - do any of you know of a woman that can get pregnant without a man? I didn't think so - I pretty sure there has never been a scenario where that was true. It is utterly amazing how some of you quote from the bible and judge others when the majority of you cannot even express your thoughts in coherent sentences without use of profanities. Read people!! There are other religions and books, that predated the Bible from which the Bible itself was molded from! Ever heard of the Egyptian Ma'at? Believe whatever you choose that's your chose, but your beliefs are just that A BELIEF. You can't prove that Jesus ever lived no more than I can prove that there isn't a Tooth Fairy or Santa Clause. If Adam and Eve where the first people, and the had two sons one of which was murdered by his brother, where did Cain(the living brother) find his wife? Either it was his sister and it was incest or there were other people GOd forgot to mention. Oh and my last question - do any of you know of a woman that can get pregnant without a man? I didn't think so - I pretty sure there has never been a scenario where that was true. I know its not all ministers and reverends, but a large majority will stand in front of you and preach about this and that, but in their own private lives, be living in ways so wrong and basically be living in sin. There is too much Hypocrosy going on in the church for me, this is a sad story but at the same time, it's nothing new.. Just like those Catholics priests molesting those young boys... 	@playarushous See the problem is people that are going to these churches and getting caught up in the preacher are going for the wrong reasons. I don't attend church every sunday because of the preacher he is just a man he only delivers the word that God has set forth. But that is another problem we don't want to to study for ourselves we want to just go by everything the preacher tells us. That is when your own personal relationship with God is formed. Know him for yourself not because the preacher, family, friends told me to but because you want to. I get terribly upset when i see things like that especially somebody who is a minister because it makes people think they are hypocrites and it makes christian people look foolish to the "world" anyway but i look at it like this he is still a man and every one has sinned and fallen short but it is God's grace and mercy that forgives us. A just man falls at least 7 times i am not saying that to say he has 6 more times to beat up ole girl but people will always sin and make mistakes we are human. Just know GOD for yourself because that is the only person that will be standing with you on judgement day.

	Me and my preacher aunt got into a heated debate about preachers. I basically told her I was tired of churches, espcially black churches. I was forced to go to church ever since I was six years old and I'm sick of the fighting in the choir to sing lead, the hos trying to screw the preachers, the downlow gay crap and the flamboyant nonsense, the fashion shows and the TRUE FARCE that is the CATHOLIC CHURCH. The make huge amounts of money, claim to feed and cloth the homeless, but the bottom line is a lot of these so-called preachers don't give a rat's a about people. Not ALL churches are like this, but most of them can kiss my behind cause they are FAKE! I love Juanita Bynum, but when I saw her on the WORD channel with her nephew--I knew there were two sides to her. She tried to act nice with her little nephew, but you could tell she doesn't really like children. However, there is no excuse for he husband to swing on her! I would've craked him over the head with a soda bottle or my cellphone--she should take a lesson from the Naomi Campbell A whooping series.
