IS it me or doesn't anyone notice how they made her up to look white? Or like some other race latina or something. Why did they use such a light base on her face. It makes her head look totally discoloured from her body. WTF is up with that? Even her features look a bit different. TO: VEGAS Magazine: "HELLOOOO ALICIA KEYS IS BLACK. AIN"T NOBODY THINK DIFFERENT".
AS usual though Ms. Keys looks on point. Just lovely.
Pretty, but something tells me that they went through quite a few rolls of film to find a good smile that worked. The girls got a thing against really smiling, like her face will crack. I wouldn't be surprised if they had to photoshop her smile a little wider. Somebody said something in another post about her "stroke victim" smile- So very true
Alicia is beautiful but they did some serious air brushing and re-touching..especially on her body..she has huge hips and thighs and they slimmed them down a lot for this pic..and they do need to dress her more stylish..they think by making her look feminine, they have to make her look like an old lady
When she said "the industry", sounds like she doesn't want to be with anybody in the entertainment industry, like she wants a regular corporate or blue collar guy. Somebody who she can come home to, that won't be on tour half the year or across the world for 5 months filming a movie, with the tabloids claiming he's cheating with his sexy co-star.
The girl want normalcy and simplicity in her hetic showbiz life.

Just becuase she isnt exposing her azz crack or wearing some corset w/ her bitties all out? It's called dressing classy and not like a hooch. The dresses are elegant and demure and very lady-like. LIke women used to dress in the old Hollywood era. She looks gorgeous.
And its all about the angle. She has her body twisted in a way that de-emphasises her hips. If she was posing straight-forward, you'd be able to see more hips on the girl. She had a great photographer!
they re-touch these celebs all the time..they use computer graphics to slim down and tone up and use shading and all types of tricks..thats not Alicias body..although she has a great body, shes not this skinny..look at other recent pics of her..I love her dresses but I dont see the need for her to be in these evening gowns when there are other stylish ways to dress her that can also be classy..one evening gown is cool..but shes a young hip urban singer, no need to dress her like one of those chicks from Desperate Housewives

LOL, agreed but we've already seen the urban side of Alicia plenty of times. I just think its refreshing to see women dressed elegant instead of rockin jeans and hooker heels and tube tops all the time, but perhaps this mag is geared towards more of an upscale style of dress. I dont know I've never heared of this mag before.
@Outdafakeonz..true true..and I really like seeing Alicia looking feminine..actually there was one point where I was dying to see her look glamorous just like this..I was so tired of the braids and that tomboy look! I just dont want her to lose her flava..the last thing we need is another Beyonce look-a-like..I will kill Alicia if she colors her hair honey blonde! lol..Alicia is in a whole other category with her music and I hope she doesnt fall prey to these Hollywood trends now that shes doing movies
Alicia is so damn gorgeous.Out of any other artist I got mad respect for her.She exudes sexiness and confidence.I love her mission on female empowerment.She is in love with her man Krucial tho,damn! most of her love songs are based on him,like that new track "No one".That track is fiyah! I know her album gonna be awesome.she is a REAL musician.Unlike the "Umbrella" girl! I bet she look at a piano like its calculus! lol A-Keys write and arrange most of her tracks,sometimes she take a break and have co writers or what not.I am just loving her,she never can look bad in my book,almost too good to be true.thats my girl!

They made her up to hide the black. That even though she looks lovely. It also looks false and makes her look old. It's so false her lip in some of the pics look like Rosario Dawson. Gotta get that paper though and appeal to both races. Smart Vegas Mag. Kudos. She's still black though.

I will buy her album when it comes out because she a class act now, and as for all you haters have you every seen a gay chick this hot (I think not) the only reason you guys hate on her is because ur ugly, broke, never could get a girl like her period. I think she looks beautiful. She's very classy, intelligent, and cares about whats going on in the world. And all of you who have negative things to say about her are doing what you do best and thats HATE! You have no proof that she is a lesbian and if she is so what? alicia keys is a banger. however, She put me off when she claimed in the sam mag that she doesnt want industry men... first of all I dont think she clarified which industry she was talking about. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I understand where she is coming from. I dated industry guys for awhile, it's very political dealing with them, and you MUST be an extremely secure person with your own life going on if you want to be with one. "Industry" basically means anyone high-profile or in the public eye. That's the whole spectrum anywhere from sports to media (music, movies, etc.)
