And it's not a travel agency. You need a license to do that. All it is is a website that you host. There are 2 websites that are avaiable. One is a marketing website, which is what MTO is showing you above. The other is the website where you can actually book travel, like on expedia or travelocity.com. There are two ways to make money. One by getting other people to sign under your marketing plan. The other is off commission from bookings on your website. Ya'll need to get the facts straight before you start hatin.

Because I am not stupid, I complained, got a free hotel room, free meals, free transportation, and a free ticket back to St. Croix. I also got limousine service. That was not because of YTB, it is because I was persistent and threatened litigation. Now that's clout, not YTB!

First of all when you book through YTB you're booking through Tavelocity, so YTB wasn't the cause of of your unfortunate occurence!
Second of all, you run the business from your home you don't have to buy any property.
Third working a job you the people at the top make all of the money and the underlings make next to nothing.
As with any business it only works if you work it! there are so many people looking for another way to make money to pay bills or save for a nice nest egg
The main people that complain about trying something other than the norm are the main people that complain about not having enough money.

That's what getting things free has to do with getting bumped. I made out very well while the rest of the little minds just take it. Funny how people let you in their personal life when you put their ass on blast. I don't care what you do or how you do it, or how uppity you are, or how many "negroes" you employ, or if your bedtime is earlier than most. If you're pissed because you got bumped, that's entirely the airlines fault, and therefore you get a voucher or whatever you bargain for. It has nothing to do with YTB, because YTB just books the flight that YOU click with YOUR mouse (and you would have known all of this had you worked in airline management like I have). All your bad fortunes were due to the airline. Next time you fly, head all this off by asking if the flight is oversold and if they can accomodate you by other means. If not, you can always cop a buddy pass from ya boy (yours truly). I might be gettin on the same plane....in first class......for FREE.

You all are acting as if this is a step back for her. This is a legit business, and there is a lot of money to be made in the travel market. She's smart to tap into it. My aunt is a licensed travel agent and she is getting paid. She does it all from the comfort of her own home. Ms. Tiny is just finding something else to do to make her some more money.
