The article is in Jet and I just read it yesterday. Mrs. DeBarge meant that her son was offered a lot of money for interviews to speak about Janet and he wouldn't do it. As ususal, MTO has distorted her words.
I don't know if Janet has a child or not but I do remember in the 80s how big she became. Janet was real big there for a while and I' not talking chubby. Her face and body were like a blimp.
If there is or was a child, it is all for career reasons that it is being hidden. Janet realized she made a mistake with a young marriage and went on with her life and became quite successful. That's the way it is in Hollywood. |

Yes.....James and Janet DID have a daughter....back when Papa Joe first ran James off, I use to see him and his brother El at Tone-Loc's house....and they spoke about the daughter all the time.....Apparently, the daughter was handed over to Rebe to raise...and the child was raised thinking Rebe was her mother....I dont know if the daughter knows BY NOW who her real mother is...and yes she is the little girl sitting on Michael's lap in the 2300 Jackson Street video. |

I heard Chico on the Wendy Williams show. He said that he believes that Janet has a child, but he has never seen her...and that his family had hired lawyers and investigators to look into the existence of the child because James wanted to be a part of her life..but that they were threatened. Actually, I think there is a hidden child that would be an adult by now, but I believe that the child is a little older than 19. That's a pretty strange family, but I have seen this type of thing before. Very religious parents, refuse to let their little girl grow up, so they raise her child as if her child is really her sister or her cousin. Get it? |

First of all the guy in the pic with JANET is NOT James DeBarge, That's her SECOND husband Rene Elizondo Jr. They were married almost 11 years when the public found out after the divorce. Janet married James when She was 18 years old back in 1984 and was annulled a few months later, IF Janet had a child with James, "She'd" be almost 24 years old, NOT 19. |

for ppl 30 and over..if u watched FAME when janet jackson was on there she had a main role and then all of a sudden she disappeared from the show. She was not killed off or anything like that. She was also getting very very chubby and when then the show couldnt hide it anymore she was gone. She was also married to James Debarge at that time. That young lady is Janet Jackson daughter..that is her child. The Jacksons are a very strange and secretive family so I believe it. MTO u have the age wrong...when the Debarge Family called HOT 97 a yr ago they said that their niece was in their early 20's. |

She was getting sick and they said then it was morning sickness, she was always standing behind a desk and walls or sitting on bleachers with her legs all the way up as to hide the belly and she disappeared. She was on the cover of Jet with James and she was very fat. Janet says she always had a weight problem now, but at that time, no she didn't. She was always skinny. They (Jacksons) have always kept secrets. It surprises me now that Janet chooses to talk about her father's illegitimate child (I read it in Parade magazine), but say Sh** about her child. Janet was not 17 when she got married, She was 18 because they eloped and the only one she told when she got back was Latoya who convinced her to tell Mother (katherine) and the marriage was annulled when she was 19. She was married to James for 1yr. If she was 17 her parents would have had to sign for to get married. |

That is Jackies adopted daughter. He and his wife Enid adopted her he has a son named sigmund esco Jackson Jr. which is Jackie's real name. She was also in her Uncle Michael Jackson's Black or white video and did a few commercials for BK sneakers when Michael was pitching the shoes back then. Go back to 2300 Jackson street she is the little girl running in the light pastel green. You might be able to pull up some old ads for Bk shoes with michael included. I believe they ran in Vibe for awhile. |

I really think this photo is infact very old however, this child looks like the Jackson's family. She does look like Janet. But, if it's Janet child, why would any mother deny her own child, what kind of a woman is that.
Janet Jackson father, Joe actually had a child outside of his marriage, and Jo'Vonnie looks like the jackson as well.
Personally, I think Michael Jackson secret child Omar and Blanket is Michael J, biological children. The Jackson's have very strong DNA. |

Janet wasn't ready for a marriage nor child. If infact this is Janet Jackson daughter, I personally thing her family made the right decision by allowing the older sister Ribbi to take the responsibility of raising this child. I'm sure Janet was a very big part of her life, what the Jacksons do in their personal lives really isn't of our business. Everybody has their own agenda, and their own reason's of doing things. Jackie married Enid Spann (died December 20, 1997) in November 1974 at the age of 23. They divorced in 1987. He has two children - daughter Brandi (adopted), biographical mother Janet Jackson and Sigmund "Siggy", who performs under the name DealZ.
