I have no problem dating outside my race. But, I have a few questions pertaining to why he would even be a good catch anyway.
If I am going to date outside my race he has to be better than anything I could find in my own. This man just in his brief intro would not be a candidate for me.
He comes with baggage. I don't want a man with kids. He did not call his children's mother his ex-wife. I don't want a man that could be a baby daddy. Furthermore, he doesn't seem like he wants to get married. He said he wanted to find love.
He uses the word Queen rather than woman. To me he sounds like he has only a sexual curiosity about Black women.
He's not attractive.
The most important thing, he's looking for "love" on a reality show. Enough said. |

Why wasn't there ever a bachelor/bachelorette show with the suitor being black and the contestants black too. Television is so racist that most people don't even know. I've had a problem for years when toy companies promote doll baby commercials. They always show the girls playing with white dolls then at the end of the commercial they'll show a white and black doll to let us "at least know" that the also sell black dolls. Yall judging the premise of the show before it even began. If you don't believe in interracial relationships, then don't date interracially! Black women are the least married single group in the country, as are Asian men. Might just go find me an Asian man myself. As a single black women, should I be sitting home boo-hooing about how "nobody likes me"...gtfoh!! If you meet all the qualities I seek in a mate, we can have dinner. It's hard enough finding a good man who is ready to build a future, let alone trying to find one of a specific race. How ignorant is it to say that interracial dating is setting us back, or even throwing slavery into the mix? I have a problem with Vh1 and Viacom and that terrible production company and the images they put of people who are black or African American. I am pretty sure the guy might be a nice guy. Who knows but the company that you represent who probably does not have not even one African American working there behind the scenes loves to put the most moronic low life black women in front of the camera. My post was not focused on him so much as it is on the negative images that your production companies and Vh1 puts out there for the world to see . My post is directed directly for you and your company who I am sure have no blacks on staff behind the scenes who help in portraying to the world negative images of black women but I am sure would not hire 1 in any other role besides acting like a moron on television. I have watched a few of your shows. I can tell how you cast your shows the type of women that make it what your agenda is. I don't have to look at this show to know what its about. I can look at your companies track record. Good ratings for vh1 at the expense of the idiots who will have a entertainment career shorter then the opening credits. The images Vh1 puts out there makes a black womens struggle in America even harder than it already is. Your company is lower than a pimp so go on I am sure you will find your hoes. My husband does all of that (sans the children because we don't have any) so can we get a reality show where you display some real black love? (Naw, I guess that concept is too revolutionary for the channel that specializes in booty reality shows.)
