Floyd Mayweather is just very unlikeable. I live in Brooklyn and when he fought the white guy Hatton, even some people in black barbershops were rooting for Hatton. As for HBO only hyping white fighters, that's bullshit. Roy Jones Jr was HBO's favorite son for years and Jones actually set a record for the fighter with the most appearances on HBO. What is the racism that Mayweather is talking about? Mayweather did not become a millionaire just by himself. If HBO was really racist, they would have never even given him a chance to be a millionaire. HBO never had to put him on their channel. He could have been a Showtime fighter and not many guys become millionaires fighting on Showtime. Mayweather is a clown and he is just unlikeable. It has nothing to do with race. White fighters have it worst than anyone in boxing because everyone is just expecting them to get knocked out in every fight. White fighters really have to prove themself to get accepted and there have been way more millionaire black boxers than millionaire white boxers. |

I noticed every time he won a fight the scoring and the announcers were both biased towards him. The fight with Ricky Hatton really screamed this out loud.
