The real reason this is a rumor, however, is that Nick wasn't even raised by his parents. He was raised by his grandparents and I think later by his dad who is a minister. His parents were never married and I don't think his mom was even in the picture that much. She gave birth to him at the age of 19 after seriously considering an abortion.
