We all know Mr. Mouth. As an American, he has the right to say what he feels. The real issue is that he is passionate about his beliefs and obviously, his passion works because it has carried him to millionaire status. I think because he lacks 'class' and other preparations of etiquette, he has a tendency to say what comes right off his chest. Believe me, this is not a video that Obama would even see or care about to this degree. I think that he has the potential to put things in order and also garner a large portion of youth who may not be voters. Let's face it - as a member of the 'other' generation, the youth don't quite listen to us. They might listen to him. I am a teacher and that's what propels me into the arena for the young people's causes. I see it everyday. I don't see Diddy as a 'mentor' per se, but there is the truth to the fact that he has amassed a great deal of wealth and it took a certain MINDSET in order to get that done. Anyone can be a millionaire. We talk ourselves out of our potential and allow others to do the same because we KILL OUR DREAMS with our own words. I have come to learn and know that the message you speak from your mouth, the words that you say, can make or break you. When you put others down, you are directing the universe and its spiritual laws to come against you. When you uplift people and encourage them with positive words, you are enabling the universe to direct the same in your wake. While I don't necessarily agree with the antics that Diddy displays, I do believe he has the right to say what he thinks and he has the right and should put efforts back into the black community to help our youth. |

I didn't listen to the video - I don't have too. I can't take any more negative talk in Re: Obama or McCain. I do have a suggestion for Diddy - though. If Diddy wants to help - provide transportation in the Ghetto neighborhoods for older folks etc. to get to the poles. That would be beneficial. If you can provide rides for DRUNK celebrities - provide rides for people who can't make it to the poles in November in the lower income areas.
