However, I did not cry because Obama became president. Afterall, he is another politician who is all about Rhetoric until his policies are put into action.
Plus, how can I trust a man who has lied so many times already; and about faith of all things! So why would I believe he can *change* the horrible situation we are currently in?

I have been an avid reader on MTO for a long time, but one thing that erks me about the people who post and MTO is the major hateration. So I composed a short list of ways to know that you're a hater. Now you may not know this, but if you can agree that at least 1 or 2 fits you, then you may be a hater.
1) If you say 'I hate her/him' and you never met that person, nor have you held a conversation with them, then.....
2)If there are no major physical inperfections with someone, so you have to find something wrong with a person's personality, then.....
3)If you are content with ranking on a person with a handicap or something that their not able to help, then.....
4)If you see someone who obviously looks better than you and you say 'she thinks she cute (i.e. fly, the sit, etc.), then.....
5)If you go to the club just to stand around with your loser friends and talk about what everyone has on and how 'they wrong for that', then.....
6)If you bump someone purposely just to start some [EXPLETIVE] and fight them, then.....

I cried. I cried for my grandfather who fought for this day but was not alive to see it.
I cried for all of the young black men who now understand that success is not JUST on the basketball court or in the studio.
I cried for my son because he now wants to be President in 50 years.
I cried for Obama because they are going to rake the coals over him and try to prove to America that although he won by a landslide, he still isn't up to par to be President.
We still have a lot of work ahead. I am still crying, praying, and asking God to help him.
He needs us more now than he did Nov 4th.
