I can't speak for every black woman, but I do feel as if some black women feel that they have to prove themselves better than white women. You shouldn't have to PROVE anything to anyone, (BLACK, WHITE, PURPLE.. WHATEVER). Your life should be the example of your abilities. When you're successful, you shouldn't have to brag or belittle anyone to let that be known. People will be able to tell by the way you carry yourself.
Regardless of what they aim to prove, I STILL BELIEVE it is pure ignorance. I try to avoid as much "EXTRANESS" as possible because causing and being involved in drama is soooo not worth it.

ACTUALLY 3 weeks ago Anderson Cooper had a segment on CNN where he talked about the show and said it was his guilty pleasure then the show Extra took that made a segment on there show and then it snowball so sorry MTO you were not the reason more people started waching it it was Anderson Cooper who blew it up well anderson 360 and the show Extra did you just dropped a few post about some chick named kim getting smacked

Two things---black women are forever in survival mode (whether they need to be or not).
Black people see black as "strong" and white as "weak".
Ok with knowing that, I'll further elaborate.
You know our history. Black women have never been protected. We had to learn to be head of household; learning to survive. Head of household doesn't come without a loss of femininity. White women on the other hand, they've always been protected and taken care of financially. They got to keep their feminine soft nature playing the Ms Cleaver role.
Fast forward to where we are now. We blacks ASSUME all whites are weaker and had a "good" life unlike us. That they've had it easier. Some whites will tell you they haven't. That they've struggled, but we all know white "struggle" is way different from black struggle. Now you put a white girl who grew up way different from the black girls. The white girl is all chippy and happy in a house with black girls who are more aggressive by nature and you make that girl their competition. Now here is where it becomes more frustrating than a regular black girl vs black girl competition. You as a black woman, feel like, "This WHITE bitch done had the world fall over for her. She done had it easy her whole life. Imma be damned if she gets this too." "If I allow her to "take" this from me."
Here is where you figure they're weaker and that "rip into her ass" kicks in.
If the white girl just wants to go along to get along, that aggravates you more because she's so gotdamn WEAK.
If she doesn't and want to mouth off, it's, "Oh hellllllll no, this WHITE weak bitch don't think she can talk down to my BLACKS ass....she don't know I'll snap her twig ass in two? Hold my earrings!"
Also, because of black people in general's history in this country, we've become some un-trusting conspiracy theorists. It's like, "Why is this white girl being overly nice to me? Why is she in my face smiling? She's so fake." Many times they are being fake too!
I think that's what happens...
You right on this one MTO - since you spoke on the action at the finale - even I wanted to see it - but unfortunately I missed it. Well one thing is for sure - they do repeat, repeat and repeat - so I'm sure I'll see it sooner or later. I wont be watching the OC one at all - either. I'm not that desparate - yet.

I can't speak for why they do it because I'm not like that, but I do agree partially with conscious...Black women do have the tendency to try to "act out" how strong we are.
Black women don't want to be seen as weak, so we have to have that "no nonsense, 'in yo face' attitude".
Like i said... im not confrontational like that. This is just my opinion of why they act that way.
Clarification on a few things I stated.
My post was outlining PERCEPTION. It will not always be the case that because you're black and she's white that you'll be able to beat her ass.
Also, when I said the, "Go along to get along", I wasn't saying people like that are weak. I was trying to state, to those aggressive females, who are looking for a fight the, "Can't we all just be cool" girls would be seen as weak. There are many who mistake kindness for weakness.
My practice (in general) is to be cool, and only react when something is done to me. I don't go looking for fights. I honestly don't like females like that either. The loudest talkers usually ain't "bout it".
Lastly, I, in no way think that is cute. Personally, I'd act even better knowing I was being filmed because mofos want you to play the angry black woman; playing up all the stereotypes. If someone expects Conscious1 to fail, Imma succeed. That's how I operate personally.
