: MediaTakeOut.com recently released an article exposing how Kelly's management (aka Mathew Knowles) kept pushing back her album's release date. It looks like that article embarrassed enough people over at Knowles Inc. that they finally put Kelly's album on the fast track.
Yesterday Columbia Records announced that Kelly's sophomore album is going to be released this June.
No need to thank us Kelly, really - it's all in a days work. You see guys, we don't always use our power for evil...

NEW YORK, March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Music World/Columbia Records will release Ms. Kelly, the avidly-awaited sophomore album from the Grammy-winning pop-urban musical superstar Kelly Rowland, on Tuesday, June 26."Like This," the first single from Ms. Kelly, is an infectious pulsating hip-hop groove featuring the Grammy-winning rap artist Eve. After a mere week at radio, "Like This" is already lighting up America's radio airwaves with a nationwide listening audience of over 5 million. The single is slated to impact Urban/Rhythm radio on March 27 and Top 40 on April 17. A "Like This" ringtone was made available on March 6 with a digital download and 12 inch single being offered on March 13. The CD single will be in stores on April 17. "Like This" is currently being promoted on AOL Music's New Songs page while fans may hear a streaming version of the tune on Kelly's MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/kellyrowland).
"Ghetto," the second single from Ms. Kelly, provides a showcase for the combined talents of Kelly Rowland and guest artist Snoop Dogg.

She feels that beyonce's "ear" is one of the best and she has a lot of resepect for that girl. I just hope this project does well. The tracks she has done and that are suppose to make the album are HOT. Everyone at Columbia is excited, but we'll see what kind of marketing budget she ends up getting. I'm happy that Kelly's CD is coming out. Unfortunately, she's not going to get the push B gets, because she's very talented. I would like to see her at least get as much publicity as Ashanti used to get when she was hot and had a new CD coming out. She deserves at least that much. At least she can really sing. Ooh Baby.
Congrats To Kelly I still believe she need to find new management because she will never get as much media and advertisement up under Mathew Knowles management. And if I was Mr. Knowles I would also look out for my childrens careers before an outsiders career oh (outside daughter foreplay daughter cousin qoute) she needs new management. I wish her the best.
I think that Matthew does put a lot of effort into Kelly. Who do you think got her those movie roles, that dark and lovely contract and appearances on those shows. He did. The thing is that Beyonce appeals to both black and white audiences whilst Kelly only basically appeals to the black audience. When he first album came out it was 1st and got so much promotion, even over here in the UK and it barely went platinum and Beyonce wasn't even promoting anything at the time so people need to stop acting like he only looks out for Beyonce. Also I think her live singing needs a lot of improvement but other than that I like her and her personality. Se will make it.

Mathew nor Beyonce nor Solange holds Kelly back. Kelly wanted to redo her album because it wasn't up-tempo enough and so she re-did the album. Kelly, Michelle or any other celeb that's not BIG can only be marketed but so far no matter who their management is. It's up to the people to not talk about them, not download their work and actually buy it - that's what makes the person progress to get more marketability.
