It seems you totally missed the point because I clearly said that people need to respect each other’s beliefs and not constantly try to force their own on every one else. Also...2. The word abomination is a jewish concept /word to describe things that went against their moral code. This was not a word from God but a secular word pertaining to their society.
3. The scripture was mis translated as the word homosexual didn’t exist prior to 1947. There was no word in the Hebrew language to mean homosexual because the concept was unknown in that language. The only concept of sexual relations b/t men in that time was in the committing of a rape or prostitution.
4. Jesus said we were freed from law and saved by grace. Jesus also specifically mentioned that it is not what one takes in that makes them defile but what in their heart. That covers the shellfish but no mention of homosexuality was made in the new testament because the concept was unknown.
5. A man would not lay with a woman as with a man. A man and woman engage in order to reproduce. That is not the goal of two men or women laying with each other. They are expressing love which is not sinful.
6. Paul did mention a city where men and women abandoned what was natural to them and layed with each other. That refers to straight men and women engaging in homosexual activities against their natural orientation. A gay man or woman is attracted to the same sex and it IS what is natural to them. It is unnatural for a gay man to be attracted to women or else he would be straight.
7. All the verses in Leviticus (which DO explicitly CONDEMN homosexuality)
are no longer meaningful. They were put in place by God via Moses to
encourage procreation. Once the lands were significantly abundant in human
life, God (in the form of Jesus) came onto the Earth to preach a NEW MORAL
