@KayJay/Lady4u I think these people only came out because it was free, it will be interesting to see when he performs in concerts where people have to pay will he able to pull that kind of crowd, the only time this tribute resembled anything like a concert was when Kanye performed, after the faces of the 9/11 victims were shown on the screen for me the concert lost that buzz. Jay forgets that others have feelings even if he and Beyonce don't this concert was more to boost Album sales rather than a tribute
@trixie: Like they say "money is the root of all evil". And Bey & Camel are confirmations of that saying in the truest form. They could be somewhere raising children together or him spending time with that secret child he has or her spending time with Daniel or whatever the hell Solange's son's name is. Guys it's a BENEFIT CONCERT!!! The proceeds go to the victims who lost their lives on that horrific day. Nobody else would've raised that amount of money for the 911 victims...I thought it was commendable that Jigga and others artists did step up to the plate. Remember it's NYC...crowd consisted of a demographics between 10-60yrs old. Don't just look to the music--look at the message---NEVER FORGET 911 AND IT'S VICTIMS!! I enjoyed it...

And surely it's a tragedy that we shouldn't celebrate--but the message of the night was to celebrate life...and to let the world know that we haven't forgotten those who perished. The moment of silence-the mural in-the money raised--it wasn't all for nothing. The families of the victims didn't oppose it--why should we?
Well, all I gotta say is - I am glad to see that the rappers are using REAL MUSIC and giving the audience their money's worth! Just looking at the concert from my screen - it looks like a good time was held by all. I don't know what kind of funds were rasied - but I am sure the NY Police Dept and Officers widows and families are truly thankful for the effort made. We often forget about officers and their families when they die. I hope they come to Nashville.
