Missed Oprah's show with Ellen. Ellen has been telling Oprah what to do for quite awhile now. Never in the history of "O" Magazine has anyone other than Michelle Obama (which is understandable) been on the cover of "O". Yet, when Ellen said she "WAS" going to be on the cover, Oprah put her on 3 covers. WTF! There are so many, many beautiful,talented black women in this world and Ellen ends up on 3 "O" Magazine covers. Oprah has a book club, why not put Toni Morrison, or Maya Angelou on the cover? But its all of the Black shows Tyra, Wendy, Oprah that white producers DEMAND that Black hosts show compassion 4 white guests and gays but steer the host to DEMEAN Black entertainers and guests. And although Im mixed, I notice that the media seems to dislike successful Black couples. At this rate Blacks will be nearly non existent in 20 years, especially compared to the rate of Latinos having kids. |
