This is really sad to read half of the comments on this page. The story was about Iman and her beautiful daughter, but turned into an attack on black women and men. That's why "some" of us will never get ahead in life and will always be held back. Thank God for the beautiful strong black women I had in my life and saw examples of good strong marriages among black men and women. My parents are still together, and black couples at my church been married over 60 years. These comments are coming from self hating, non christians. Once you have a relationship with God you have love for everyone and will uplift and not bring each other down. All I can say is thank God I'm one of the blessed strong black women, that knows some people needs prayer. When this world is over and I meet God and he asked me what have I done to help someone or did I love everyone like he said, I want to say yes..What will be your answer?
For you people making comments about black women being the least married, if you were a Christian you would know what I Corithians 7:25-40..God loves the unmarried because you can spend more time pleasing the Lord. I encourage black women to stay focus on God. If you are unmarried, it's just less problems you must deal with and more time to spend with the Lord..the richest woman in the U.S. is a black woman, the strongest political women are black (ie. Michelle Obama, Condoleeza Rice) even a city in Utah elected their first black woman Mayor. Black women are excelling beyond measure..Thank God
