I think that Beyonce has had a wonderful career that she's worked extremely hard for. Russell Crowe is a great actor as well and as far as we know, this role could have been written specifically for them (which is ALWAYS a compliment). Black actors and actresses still have to work twice as hard to recieve the notoriety that their caucasian counterparts do. We can not expect her to not want to "cross over" or not accept contreversial roles.
