Here’s what popped off. Candi Holyfield, Evander’s third wife, claims that she and Evander got into an argument over the amount of money that she has been TITHING to the church of MULTI-MILLIONAIRE Creflo Dollar.
A few weeks ago, the Holyfield’s had to have the HEAT turned off in their Atlanta mansion, it's not clear why. When Candi started complaining that the cold home was dangerous for her and their children Evander snapped - claiming that the reason she was cold was that she HADN'T BEEN TITHING ENOUGH to the church.

First of all, I attend Pastor Dollar's church. He does not force anyone to sow seed. That's between you and God. Secondly, he is not paid from the tithe and offering. He writes books that are sold in stores, sells cd's and dvd's. He speaks at conferences and so forth. As a member of the church, I can ask to see the tax returns. I know where the money goes. So, if you don't attend the church, don't criticize something if you have never experienced it.
This is what crooked churches have instilled in people. If you give more money to the church you will get more. These preachers are nothing but phony balony crooks preaching from a soap box. Most of them have never fully read the Bible, only bits and pieces. This guy has been hit in the head too many times and he has lost some of his marbles.

No one is being tricked! Pastor Dollar practices what he preaches. The congregation who practices what he preaches is just as well off. But you never hear those stories, do you? The problem is, people don't read the Bible. The Bible tells us that the old laws (described in the Old Testamnet) have passed away. That was the reason for the sacrifice of Jesus. We are not required to tithe, nor are there any need for priests and sacrifices. It explains this in Hebrews Chapters 7,8, and 9. But many Pastors still teach this. Isreal tithed once to Melchizedek through Abraham the spoils of the war that brought them to the promise God had for them. Jesus is a priest after the order of Melchizedek, not after the order of Aaron, whose preists received tithes regularly....
What do celebreties do for you? They throw their money away, partying, drinking, sleeping around, cheating on their wives, having babies with everybody... God gave a promise to Jacob and his children, but God, at the insistance of Abraham, gave blessings to the seeds of both Jacob (Jews/Christians) and Ishmael (Muslims). @Allah I am friends with Karen Farrakhan who lives Crete IL and I live in Miami Fl. We both have different views on religion but we never let it get in the way of our friendship. I've been to a few of Minister Farrakhan's gatherings with her and her family and I noticed that although they don't take up a tithes, but they did pass around a bucket and took up offerings. They also called out the name of the people who gave and announuced the amount. My point is; all religons take money from people because they need it to keep the mission going. This pastor at a church I used to go to is currently having an almost 5,000 sq ft custom built for his family and owns THREE expensive cars. Both him and his wife have jobs but they're not high paying jobs.
His church is currently struggling to raise money to build a bigger church and has been struggling for years.

I agree that all organizations, albeit religious or not need captial to run, I'm not here to try to downgrade anyone's belief system although I follow The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. The thing I have a problem with though is someone not having heat etc for their wife and babies and still feels the need to give to an organization. common sense does need to apply here. Actually Evander is the one to blame for this. It is not up to the pastor the govern his household that is his responsibility alone. Believers only tithe 10 per cent of their income. The rest of it – you save, spend, pay bills do what you want and the Lord blesses that amount even more through people, through your gifts, talents, and other things. It is a system of SPIRITUAL THINGS, just like we have a system of NATURAL THINGS. Thirdly, in my opinion – if they are ONE as the Word teaches, he should KNOW what is wife is contributing. In fact, their commitment is ONE and he, being the man of the home, should be the one to offer the tithe from HIS household. So, there is possible some things are amiss in this marriage and in their understanding of the Word. Fourth and last, If you are a believer and you follow what the Word says, and you are attending a church which believes in tithing, your household is supposed to be blessed!
Your pastor is also going to be blessed. I know Pastor Dollar and I also know that he has given so, so, so much away that people have no idea about. People are quick to judge the preacher. I’m not saying that there are not some who are not doing what God intended, but I also know that God has given us a spirit of wisdom and knowledge to know the difference. So, if you follow a preacher and you are not aware of how he is spending, how he is entrusting the Word to you, and that the Spirit has not given you peace about his actions, then you have every right to leave in peace. Otherwise, if you are happy, receiving the Good Word, growing in your faith, it is expected that as your household grows, so should the pastor. I know good Pastor Teachers! Men who have given their lives to the cause of the kingdom, who live according to the Word of God, who love and honor their parishioners, who make sure their congregation is taken care of with the TITHES and offerings, who is a blessing to his entire family, church, community and world! This is a matter between THE HOLYFIELDS, THEIR PASTOR AND THEIR GOD. I ask that we who believe, will pray for them and for their peace, joy and understanding of the Word of God and to be led accordingly.
I pray that he did not touch his wife, because that is certainly NOT of God. IF he did - he certainly needs counseling and diretion. Preachers today are misusing Malachi 3:10-12 to pimp people out of their money. That verse of scripture never said to giving 10% of money to preachers, nor did it say to give money to church.
That verse was talking about food. The tithe is livestock, grains, fruits, vegetation and oils, not money.

Pastors don't even have the authority to receive tithes cause that wasn't giving to them.
