The initial reports were that Carmelo wasn't budging. But rumors started coming out of LaLa's camp that they were set to wed this Summer.
Well, now LaLa's people are putting out the below "Save The Date" and claiming a wedding date of July 10, 2009.
Good for LaLa . . . if it happens . . .
This dummy should have "saved that stuff" until after he married her if "marriage" is such a big deal.
When chicks do mess like that they give their baby daddies a reason to drag them around until he gets ready to make a move.
They be like..."don't try to go get some morals AFTER you sleep with me." LOL!

@Ladybugscourt Well, she did move on...out! Pressuring him over the 5 years while shacking up which produced a child didn't work. She was fed up & left. (Why buy the cow when you're getting everything for free? The free milk & doing for him stopped). Finally, he decided to man-up and came correct. He must have wanted to marry her after she left because apparently he proposed "Again" to get her back & set a date this time. Stop playing house & giving it all with nothing (or real commitment)in return. You see, it pays to establish a line of respect & keep your dignity ladies.
You know, this is one couple that I believe really has their 'business' together as far as what they are trying to commit to in their personal lives. There is so much info out there about them and what they are doing and not doing, but this is a couple who have been PLANNING this from the beginning. I have faith in them.

Good for them if true, but it's good that they're waiting until they're ready, unlike most people who feel they have to rush into marriage just to prove a point! Every couple is different and some may feel like they don't have to be married and just being together is enough. Marriage isn't for everyone...
She mentioned on Wendy Williams about a month ago that they were getting married this summer.
There is NOTHING wrong with them being engaged for that long in "celebrity world" it is better to be engaged for awhile, then to jump into marriage, spend all that money and turn around and get a divorce a few years latter. I commend them on waiting.
