Im a dark brown skinned man with nappy hair and Im very handsome and I say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH of this crap.
Im sick of the media campaign to foster the "LIGHT IS RIGHT" and "STRAIGHT IS GREAT" mind conditioning of our little boys and girls.

Rainbowbright I am not one to be sensitive really...but it's reallly an amusing observation I've made about this website. The only darker skinned women that they give a little props to is maybe Jill from girlfriends and MAYBE Naomi Campbell... Other than that, they can find negative things to say about Tameka, Serena, Venus, Lisa Leslie and positives about Halle, Jessica Alba, Eva, Kim K..shoot even when they are talking about Amy Winehouse they don't go this far. Yes I recall the study from the early 1960's where 7 year old black children were tested and given a choice of black dolls and white dolls to play with and 100% chose the white dolls . They all given a choice said that the white dolls were beautiful and the black dolls were ugly..
The same test was done on 7 year old black children in 2005 and you know what the results were? The exact same!!!
They have really done a great job screwing up our sense of self worth, our self esteem and our image of what beauty is...This means that these children actually hate themselves and what they see in the mirror, even though its not verbalized.These children grow up to be adults with children of their own to raise and the silent self hatred is passed on in subtle but very real and powerful ways...
Tv SHOWS, hOLLYwood movies and music video are killing the minds, the souls and the images of our young ones and we plop them down in front of the boob tube everyday and they are bombarded with images shaped and constructed by those who hate us and unless we start making our own movies, starting our own record labels (not independent whores tricking for BMI and Sony) and make our own TV (NOT the coonery of BET), we are going to lose another generation of children.
The sad part of it is each generation since the post WW2 has gotten progressively physiacally weaker because thats when processed foods were introduced to us. Our children are fat and sickly with diabetes and high blood pressure before they even reach puberty.
