: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that New York Police arrested rappers Ja Rule and Lil Wayne in separate incidents last night. Both face similar charges of criminal possession of a firearm.
It all started around 10:30 last night when officers pulled over a speeding luxury car that was carrying Ja Rule, whose real name is Jeff Atkins, and two other men. According to police who conducted the search, they found a .40-caliber pistol in the vehicle.
And just a few hours later, in another incident, rapper Lil Wayne was arrested. Police claim they saw Wayne and another man smoking marijuana. And, according to the arresting officer, when they searched Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, they found that he was carrying a .40-caliber pistol.
As of this morning, both men are still in police custody.

See, now this is why Lil Wayne has a long way to go to be the Best Rappe Alive. Not only do you have to be a great artist, but you also have to be a smart business person. This is not something that a smart business man/woman would do. All you have to do is get a permit. How hard is that?? Stupid!!!!
It is not easy to get a gun lisence. First of all you can not be a felon, which knocks out most rappers. Why do you think people like fifty have body gaurds that are ex police or police. It has nothing to do with being a snitch or working with the police. You see he is never pulled over for anything. None of listen to Pappose. He told yall if you ain't got no felonies get your gun license. I am a female and a I am proud card carrying member of the NRA and I have a pistol license.

I was at the il Wayne show last night at Beacon theatre of 72nd street. Wayne took 2 hours to come on stage. When he did he stated that this was his last show in NYC because of how thw cops were treating him since he arrived. Ja rule was one of his special guests. They did Uh Oh- Kanye and Juelz was there too. When I was on my way home- I saw that their tour bus was pulled over by about 60th street. It wasnt a regular NYPD car. It was like a special kind of jeep, kinda indicating some type of special police squad "hip hop police" maybe. Wayne was real humble at the show- He thanked his fans at least 5 times saying he was nuthin without them. Me reading the paper hearing of the arrest really bothered me. Especially since he spoke out about them harrassing him before the show. Our artists and culture is being attacked. They know these stars need to protect themselves; so they go after them instead of the real criminals.
If LiL Wayne lives to be an old man he's gonna look like a fool..

please! you cannot blame this generation on rap music! you can blame the actions of this generation on the last generation b/c those are the parents. and parents are the first, and should be only, role models. the people blaming the entertainers are the people whose children are locked up, will be, or are the problem children in their class. and some of you fit into that category. people always want to point the finger when, in reality there are a bunch of sorry ass parents who want the schools and tv to raise their children. a responsible parent teaches their children that what they see on tv is ENTERTAINMENT. a responsible parent teaches their kids right from wrong, and accept the responsibility for the actions of their children. U have to give your child foundation, not rappers and ballers.
