I agree @Kiss_this621. I dont' know what lil_darkmommie is talking about. Why do people always assume that black people are the race that don't like it when one of our own dates outside the race? I mean me myself I dont really care. I feel like that is the personal preference of the indivisual and has nothing to do with me. I just dont like it when people ridicule blacks for caring and being upset about it when every other race does the same thing. They might not let it be known like in your face but that dosent mean that the thoughts are not there. Just look at the bounty hunter guy, so why is the finger only pointed at blacks. Tina just because you're mixed with mexican and black doesn't mean that there isn't notoriety in general about alot of Mexicans being racist....there's notorious Cuban racism too. But just because you're mixed doesn't exactly show everything is hunky dory between blacks and mexicans....I've heard enough racist stuff from mexicans but some isn't all true enough. And quite frankly just because YOU have never heard of issues between blacks and Mexicans which I find hard to believe unless you've been living under a rock it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Fendi when you say most black folks I assume you meant most black Americans (non-Hispanic)? I know a few Belizean people but those don't try to dissociate from their African ancestry...... if me nd one of my Belizean associates walk into a bank.....we both are black.....they aren't seeing us different from each other as far as ethnicity goes because we look (and are) of the same race. My point is most Dominicans, a good amount of Cubans, etc. are all of the African Diaspora....I always say that only difference is some of us (those of varying African descent) were dropped off a little bit earlier than those in the U.S.
