: It's like R Kelly-Ne Yo all over again. Two days ago, MediaTakeOut.com was the first news source in the world to tell you about the catfighting going on behind the scenes at Rihanna and Ciara's European tour. Now it's starting to look like the entire tour may be in jeopardy.
As we first reported to you, the trouble began when Ciara gave a killer performance in Manchester, UK. People behind the scenes tell MediaTakeOut.com that Rihanna wasn't pleased with all the attention that Ciara received. The two women's camps then began fighting over everything from rehearsal time to money.
And it was that catfighting, and not a mysterious medical condition - as Rihanna's camp is claiming, that caused Rihanna to cancel Friday's performance. Rihanna also canceled two other performances and may cancel even more.
Yesterday MediaTakeOut.com managed to speak with a tour insider who gave us the latest news on what's happening between the two ladies. The insider tells, "Everyone [on Ciara's side] is completely in the dark. [Ciara's] ready to perform tonight if they want [her] to - all [Rihanna's camp] has to do is make sure that they have the checks ready to pay us." The insider continued, "I have no idea what's going to happen, but Rihanna and her people need to put their egos aside and think about all the fans who paid good money to see a show. All these games are childish and it'll hurt Rihanna in the long run."

alot of her websites have been saying it's because of medical reasons but i truly think RIHANNA'S getting an even bigger head over nothing........GGGB has yet 2 go platinum....if this is the real reason 4 her canceling all these shows, there's something wrong with her!!

It was a bad idea for Rihanna to have Ciara on her tour from the get go. You don't get an opening act that will out do and perform you. Ciara is a killer performer and Rihanna should have known that, and it was a strong if not sure possiblity that she would get up-staged. Not saying I believe MTO, but I wouldn't be surprised if Rihanna is jealous. And yeah to the other post about GGGB having yet to go platinum, she has went platinum just in shipments, but she has still only sold like 800,000+ albums which is not good with have like 5 songs out. The Evolution went platinum within like 2 or so months last year when it came out.
rihanna actually has 3 albums out not 1, and none of them actually sold platnum in the US but they do very well in the UK and other european markets. rihanna has a good following in europe just like kelis and blu cantrell. it's just that most of rihanna's music is disposable so you don't remember.
ci only has 2 cd's, 1 did 3 million world wide and the current one is 2 million world wide.. ciara has a bigger following in the asia markets and i guess that's why she's touring with rihanna to get more of the european audience.
i agree with all rihanna had no business letting ciara perform and i'm sure ciara kilt it on purpose to shame rihanna. not nice.
Everyone says Ciara has so much stage presence ONLY because of the dancing, NOT THE VOICE! Rihanna on the other hand just isn't jumping all over the stage and she for some reason has not talent??? The Umbrella star will now appear on Thursday, December 20.
Original tickets are valid for the new date but anyone unable to attend can obtain a refund from the point of purchase.
The Barbados-born singer had cancelled under “doctor’s orders” though the detail of her illness wasn’t given to fans who turned up at the venue.

I HAVE seen Ciara and that's why I can say what I say. I have also heard her CD's and she does barely any of that singing on stage and that's why I can't respect her as an artist. She is not seasoned enough to jup around the stage right now. She needs to focus on singing b/c the dancing will die soon and she won't have a voice to stand on.
