: Miami hip-hop artist Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Perez, was arrested early this morning and charged with driving under the influence. He has been in county jail for almost four hours and still has not been released on $1,000 bond that was post shortly after the processing due to an 8-hour mandatory hold.
This Cuban lyrical genius is well-known for his bilingual club bangers, such as "Culo" off his debut album "M.I.A.M.I" and "The Anthem" ft. Lil' Jon from his album released just over three weeks ago "The Boatlift". "The Boatlift" has blazed the independent charts peaking at No.7 and was No. 50 on the Billboard Charts. This album which features a softer more sensitive side of the blue-eyed Cuban, such as in "My Life" ft. Miami R&B singer Casley and "Secret Admirer" ft. Murder Inc.'s R&B singer Lloyd.
This guy is a true representation of "art imitating life," he obviously knows how to party-hard. I have had the privilege of seeing him perform and if his incredible energy on stage is anything like his parting ways, I can only imagine how much fun he was having.

Are you serious, your entertaining the idea that drinking and driving is normal and fun behavior. I wonder how fun it would be If he killed one of your family members. DUI's not only effect the driver they effect everyone else around them. Dont quit your day job.
could have happened to anyone. I got stopped the other night driving home after I had been drinking. The cop made me call someone to pick me up. The only on who could do it was my mother and father. I cant tell you how embarrassed I was. But, the cop did cut me a break because he could have taken me to jail.
