^^^^ This isn't about whether or not if those black NBA players deserve the money... Its more about how they handle their new fame and power... I'm not saying they don't deserve the money, I'm saying that ANYONE who all of sudden becomes rich like that pretty much will have the world at their feet, and think they could do wahtever they want and most likely will get away with it. It doesn't matter, white or black, when you become a millionaire like that you pretty much think you can do whatever you want...
And a lot of black players come from nothing. So when they do achieve success its like they want to go all out. I'm not saying they shouldn't, I'm just saying that some of them don't know how to handle all the money. And a lot of them are screwed up to begin with, if you look at their background and where they come from. All that money gives them a lot of power...
You pretty much can do whatever and people wouldn't care. No one is gonna say NO to you. Those rich white people who are handing those black players their checks, aint gonna say no to them - they need those star athletes on their team. I aint mad at them, they can spend their money on what they like, I'm just saying that a lot of them are irresponsible. And most of them are immature. Just because you become a millionaire don't mean you're gonna turn into this "mature" person, you still gonna be doing ignorant things because no one is gonna stop you... |
