I have mixed feelings about this...I like George Lopez and it bothers me that he seemed to want to fans the flames of tensions between Blacks and Latinos in L.A. by saying this.
However, on the flip side I have to wonder why WE don't get all bent out of shape when we address ourselves in negative terms...Calling each other bitch, ho, n*gga, whatever...do you see anyone protesting Chris Rock or D.L. Kramer was calling someone in the audience the "N" word. He was not making a joke. It was an attack on a person because they were heckling him.

i can go for days on this subject but jus to clear things up: I dont mean dont suport black businesses but as a consumer I want the best for my money and when I support a blck business I dont want to get swindled I have to worry bout that from other races. I wouldl like the black businessto take care of its black customers not run over them it works both ways. The instances when I got screwed by black business owners was bc they were greedy and its sad!! |
