: Looks like Atlanta may have lost one of its biggest celebrities - at least temporarily. MediaTakeOut.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that the Jermaine Dupri has just signed a lease for a 4 bedroom apartment in the luxurious Time Warner Center in New York City.
And it makes a lot of sense. As MediaTakeOut.com EXCLUSIVELY told you last week, Jermaine Dupri is expected to be named the head of Def Jam any day now. And Def Jam's corporate headquarters are in New York City.
But there's more. According to a person who works in the building, Jermaine isn't moving there alone. The insider told MediaTakeOut.com that Janet Jackson is expected to live in the building also. The insider explained, "We've had [numerous] discussions with Janet Jackson's security, so we expect that she'll be staying in [the Time Warner Center] as well."
In case you're wondering, rent for Jermaine's new apartment, which reportedly overlooks Lincoln Center - is $45,000 a month.

$45G?? Not a surprize. Rich folks like Jermaine and Janet are the only ones who can afford those apartments that they have in Manhattan. That's all they are building those apartments for, anyway. Regular working folks can't even afford a closet in those buildings. Even Brooklyn and Queens is getting expensive to live in these days, with all of those luxury hig-rises going up on the waterfront. They are trying to drive poor and middle class people out of New York by upping the rents, and it's working!

Everyone always comments on how janet always look great, she does, but guess what if we could afford personal trainers everytime we gained too much weight we would be in shape with fake boobs too.
