: Looks like the 2007 trend of artists' getting their albums pushed back will continue in 2008. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Mariah Carey's new album has been pushed back. The album, which was tentatively scheduled to be released in February, has been pushed back to mid-April at the earliest.
And she's not alone. MediaTakeOut.com is hearing that Ashanti's new album The Declaration is getting pushed back also. The album, which was originally set to be released on March 25th is now tentatively scheduled for release in "late spring/early summer" - according to a Universal Music exec.
i hope ashanti had some top notch producers because if not she'll be working at walmart soon. remember that lady of soul award they gave her? she was so hurt that folks didn't think she should have it, but she couldn't even sell a box of m&m's at this point and they gave her an award named after aretha franklin.
Ashanti is horrible and needs to give it up. She sucks. She can't sing, dance, and loves to sample *coughstealcogh* people's music. I wish she was sit down somewhere. Mariah is pushin hers back because she is a perfectionist and if that's what it takes for her to get it to where she wants it i'm fine wit that. Ashanti on the other hand just can't make music.

Ashanti, Bey, Rhianna and Alicia are all extremely attractive black women. We can't say they all are equal in talent but at least they are all gorgeous in their own right. Now if the film industry could find beautiful actresses with some talent like the music industry, Black Hollywood could be really strong. Mariah is really attractive especially when her hair is dark but girlfriend got vocals for days.

Mariah is a vocal talented singing vocal monster. she has the most versatile group of fans ever. just look at her christmas song all this time later and the song was still a number 1 ww hit. this women is talent at her best. she will sell [EXPLETIVE] loads. mariah and janet will be running [EXPLETIVE] watch. its sort of a smart move becuz she and Janet are on the same label. so the label got that right. As for ashanti she's cool i like her as a person shes very down to earth. she has had some good songs. and she has built somewhat of a fanbase she will atleast go gold no matter what. she does however need to leave that baby baby baby [EXPLETIVE] alone. that [EXPLETIVE] drives u banana's. its almost like she is a spokesperson for the word or some [EXPLETIVE].
