: Details of Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds New Year's wedding in Bora Bora were released yesterday. But shortly after the initial wedding confirmation, something strange happened. Tracey Edmonds rep issued the following statement:
The wedding that took place in Bora Bora was a ceremony to bind Eddie and Tracey spiritually in the presence of family and friends. Smart girl Tracy....First of all, her and Babyface built an empire together. Yes, he was already on his grind when she married him; however, look how long they were married and all the business they handled/created while they were together. She has her kids and her lifestyle to think about and she aint bout to let no trout-mouth ruin it for her and her kids. Eddie Murphy is pretty unpredictable as we've seen in the past so why should she risk what's due to her by marrying someone who may or may not be around in 2 - 4 years time? Shiiiid, she know what's up.....they can have all the "commitment" ceremonies they want but I dont think they'll get married.
I'm kind of disappointed in Tracey; I still look at her as a beautiful, intelligent, sucessful woman but when I first heard of her dating Eddie I was like 'she don't know?' everyone in the world knows about him and the tranny and his girlfriennd Johnny Gil. I guess even when you have everything material wise one could still have self esteem issues. She is very pretty and she could get any straight man out there. And Eddie has children out of wedlock from cheating on his wife. Why would anyone date someone who has another woman currently pregnant (Melanie Brown) and he's denying the paternity of that child to only find out at a later date that is his child and all the man does is pay child support and has no relationship with his own child?
