The reason Kanye West's mother died in November following a plastic surgery operation shall forever remain a mystery.
The Los Angeles coroner's office released their findings Thursday on the death of Dr. Donda West and they state: "The final matter of death could not be determined." Though heart disease is believed to be a factor in her passing.
However, the coroner did say that there was no sign of "surgical or anesthetic misadventure."
That shady doctor is gonna be off the hook!

The first Dr she went to told Dr West he did not feel comfortable performing on her because of a heart arythima if (I'm not mistaken) because he ran all the preliminary health tests required prior to surgery as any good dr would do, so she then went to Dr. Adams and we all know what happened, he should be sued for malpractice, he took this woamns life, I understand she probably signed papers saying she was well aware of the risks, but as a physician, Dr Adams had a responsibility NOT to do the surgery knowing about pre-existing health conditions. |

The coroner's findings are really no surprise. And even though the doctor played a major role in her death, unfortunately, so did Donda West. Yeah, he knew of her pre-existing condition, but so did she, and it seems that even after being warned previously by another physician not to have the procedure done, she wasn't going to rest until she found some quack to fulfill her wishes. That's total negligence on the doctor's part, and contributory negligence plus assumption of the risk on her part. While the doctor's going to have to kick out some loot, her role in her death is going to help his defense, and he won't be paying out as much. I hope they resolve things quickly for Kanye's sake and the sake of the rest of her family. |

Ms. West had CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE! This means that she, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, should have pursued plastic surgery after her doctors advised her of the risks.
Criticize the surgeon if you want, but I'm sure he made her sign a waiver due to her serious condition.
I am sad that she passed for sure. However, we must take our medical health serious. It's that Cali living...she probably felt that she had to get surgery with all those other plastic surgery patients walking around coupled with a myriad of surgeons.

I remember watching a show last year on the Discovery Health Channel with Dr. Jan Adams and on a particular episode, he talked about older women and surgery and showed Lisa Raye's mother getting the same and or similar procedure last year on the channel, I think Lisa Raye's mom is older than Dr. West, her surgery on the show came out ok.maybe she did not have the health complications Dr.West had? Either way, I am sadden by this unwarranted passing. It was said that Kayne advised his mother against this, and supposedly, she did the surgery when Kayne left the country. While I do not want to sound insensitive to what the family is going through I am glad that the facts surrounding her death is finally coming out. Maybe this it will help stop (or at least slow down) all these people rushing to go get plastic surgery. People are risking their lives just to "look good". Better love yourself first before you worry about who else will love you.
I remember when I had my son the anesthesiologist told me he had to go back and calculate some stuff cause he didn't realize I was so short and didn't want to give me to much anesthesia. I told him to take his time cause the baby can wait. |

I'm deeply saddened that this tragedy has happened in anyone's family. Please ppl, be careful when seeking other alternatives like plastic surgery. Sometimes a quick fix is not always the answer, but just in case some ppl prefer that quick fix; do your research, prepare your body and get a thorough physical. Though scripture says tomorrow is not promised to us. |

There is no excuse!before any surgery there is a process you must take to find out medical history...all that stuff having to do with her ateries DID NOT develop while she was laying on that operation table. Doctors are supposed to know when surgeries are going to be too risky for certain patients. im sure that doctor knew. so if u ask me do i think he should be held responsible i must say HELL YES! i hope he wasnt trying to make a name for himself by saying he worked with patients such a dr. west. totally disgusting... |

I know that I've had blood clots and it's risky to have surgery, but to have a heart condition and be told NOT to move forward with SURGERY is just like jumping off a bridge, not to mention the age factor. Surgery is risky for young people, but the older you get, the riskier it gets. The doctor was wrong because he did the srgery and THEN sent her home--everybody KNOWS that you nee to be under observation for at least 48 hours at the very MINIMUM, so he WAS INDEED NEGLIGENT and I hope Kanye will sue for that, even though his mother was WRONG for not listening. |
