I don't think this is true...but if it is, it's never a good idea to just not eat. In the early parts of starving yourself, you actually gain weight or have difficulty losing any weight at all b/c you force your body to go into survival mode. Your body will start feeding itself off of fat reserves already stored in your body. I guess when those are depleted, that's when you'll start losing weight and become sickly looking.

The best way I know of is to eat 6 small meals a day (all before 7-8 pm) and workout atleast 30 min to an hour, 3-4 days out of the week. Stop with the crash diets and just do a lifestyle change...it's less stress and I heard it's a lot more easy to do when you get use to the change.
