I think a lot of people blame Kim Kardashian for the sex tapes, for caving in and making her profit from it. But from what's been explained by different interviews over the course of the release of the tape, when the tape first surfaced she stood by Ray J 100% saying he would never ever ever release a private tape of the two of them. Afterwards, she found out he did indeed sell it, she was instructed that because it was his property he could do whatever he wanted and she couldn't really sue him because she agreed to make the tape. And in the end, she was just forced to make the company he sold it to, pay her a fair share as well. I don't think she was ever into that tape being released and being known for it.
With that said, its becoming more apparent that Ray J is incredibly sleazy. Gaining womens trust during intimate moments and literally selling them out for it. Many couples make "tapes" of their sexual exploits. This is nothing new and is probably encouraged by some couples therapist when they are having intimacy troubles. But once this trust is ensued into someone that this moment, despite the recording of it, is for their eyes only to share, its really really self serving, spiteful and underhanded to sell it to the world.
