First and Foremost the Grammys will not be picketed by the WGA, so know that. Secondly since this is the 50th Grammy Ceremony the majority of the performance will pair or group legendary artist with current established artist as well as up and coming acts. If you would have watched the My Night at the Grammys show which aired Nov 30. which did a look back at old performances and how the pairing and performance came together. So for the legendary artist they will perform sort of like a reenactment of their greatest grammy performances. Hence the Tina/Beyonce,Whitney/Alicia,U2/Foo Fighters and so forth.

For everyone saying that the writers are not going to strike now is really not the point. The point is that they made a point of letting the world know that Beyonce was going to perform anyway. So the writers that were on strike is going to see it like this: Beyonce did not support us, she was going to perform regardless. The media didn't even have to announce the people who were going to cross the picket line yet, its not until next month. They did that on PURPOSE so they could have Beyonce looking like a scab. Ending the strike doesn't change the fact that she was going to cross the picket line anyway. Hollywood is trying to sabotage her.

Since Tina doesn't live in the U.S. and here career is in not as it once was, performing is no big deal to her. As for Beyonce, this is suicide. She will be blackballed by the writers, and any part in either movies or television will have to be written by her because they will not touch her. I haven't tuned in to the Grammys for a couple of years now, the songs and people they had nominated just didn't do anything for me...besides the Grammys aren't what they used to be, they're giving them to just ANYONE and their mamas these days.
