They should put Tiger Woods on the misc. list. I get so tired of seeing him on black lists and in black magazines, the man has already disassociated himself w/ being black. Cast him out w/ the rest of the garbage.

Oprah, I don't think she is a bully with the bucks, she is just doing it big. I don't think anyone will ever catch her. I'm sure her selling the Oxygen channel was not even in her figure. Na, I saw it on TV the other day, They said that in June of 06-June of 07 She made up to 27 million and they didnt include the second half of the Beyonce Experience Tour, In June of 07 she was barely 2 months into her tour, it started in April! So who knows if she could've made more but they was only counting from a certain time period and from June 06-June 07 27 million is a nice piece of change!
I believe those people represent more than just wealthy black folks. Congrats because I'm not hating but What do they actually do for us to come up as a race? Absolutely nothing1 They keep up entertained while the government is doing shady [EXPLETIVE]! Yeah she was on tour during that time period, The Confessions On the Dancefloor tour did 260 Million! Thats what helped her get on the list! Alicia Keys said that she was on tour too for the past 2 years she said but the difference is, MTO & TMZ dont show pics of them everyday while they were on tour! LOL!
I agree with taetaebabylove. I feel there should be a lot more of blacks sharing their wealth to help our people because there are so many in need instead of buying more mansions, yachts, Benzos, jewelry or more lavish vacations. I'm just sayin'. They were blessed with wealth so why not share just a little bit of it and not hoard it for things they don't need just because they got it like that.

Yeah, I would have thought she should have been higher on the list with all the things she was doing. Maybe her numbers are from trying to make the rest of her family stars (dead or alive). I'm sure she has taken a huge loss with them losers. Nobody else on the list is trying to DRAG their family along with them.

Beyonce is the only black woman on that list besides Oprah out of all the black female artists in the world. And she's the richest woman in RnB as well. How is that not a lot? Please she is killing every black female artist out there because I don't see their names on this list. Besides she's also the most popular black female artist so of course you will see her everywhere. She's the only black female artist the media reports on or cares about. I try to bounce off the walls for these people but what bothers me is that with all their millions, they get so much free stuff!! Designers ask them to wear their stuff. They get all kinds of jewelry and everything. I know people like to advertise but geesh!! Maybe one day Versace and Porshe will approach me and say: "Hey we want a nice teacher in grad school to use our stuff". They might(head hangs in pitiful realization)!! Anyway, as long as they use what God has blessed them with for good and not evil, that works. Someone needs to get my 4th graders new history books because it is the same one I had in the 4th grade!!
I think it is not real to expect rich people to do everything in the world, it is all people, regular people who will make a change, not to say those who are more materially blessed should not do as much as they can...but if Oprah gave all her money to the poor, she would not have that position to do what she does, we need a black billonaire woman, im being realistic, we need power players, but also strength comes from all people regular people doing their best and being organized, so i hate it when folks think that a rich black person can save the world, its our thoughts that will save us all
