: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that dozens of employees from Jay Z's 40/40 Las Vegas club are complaining that the lounge is run unprofessionally. Here's what Las Vegas Weekly is reporting:
An estimated 100 or more staff members of 40/40 have been reportedly escorted off-property or walked off the job [at Jay Z's 40/40 Las Vegas]. Since then, the disgruntled have made wide-but-cautious use of forums such as MySpace, Craigslist, ... and good old-fashioned word-of-mouth to say their piece.We have to admit, we’ve been hearing the same complaints for years from disgruntled employees at 40/40 New York. If everyone's saying the same thing, there's gotta be some truth to it...Reports have included on-the-spot, mid-shift terminations without investigations; use of the N-word from an owner; threats; degrading treatment; and a complete lack of preparedness for the December 30 opening. The controversial debut went down as planned, though only just.
As was widely reported, the venue obtained the necessary permits just in the nick of time.
Maybe Jay Z needs to stop trying to rap and start handling his business out in Vegas. REAL TALK!!
I've heard the same complaints from employees at the Atlantic City location. Complaints about not getting paid, the place being run by management with a "hood" mentality versus a "professional" mentality.
When you think that Jay-Z DID stab Lance Un Rivera for a disagreement that they had, (while Jay was backed up with his cronies) believing that his businesses are being run with a "hood" mentality is not too far fetched!
Ok JAY is a hustler........meaning he's involved in serveral business ventures. I think he should hire somebody to assit him. I don't believe that he purposely mistreats his employees...because he's been at the bottom. HE may overlook certain things because he is an extremely busy man...All he needs is some assistance and problem solved.

I actually was there for the Superbowl this past weekend and at no point did I notice walk out's or terminations. I was thinking of having my B-Day party there on the 23rd. The service was excellent. The drink selection was top notch. And the whole Idea of having an upscale sports bar right off the strip (cause you can walk right in the front door and there you are. The private rooms are off the hook and the waitress' (the F N waitress) BR[SPAM]AAAAAAAAAAA!

No for the inside problems that go on, who cares its and bar/club/restaurant/whatever you want it to be spot with no cover (READ BLACK PEOPLE) no cover means it's FREE to get in (Now the table's in front of the VERY large screen in the middle ran for like a G during the superbowl, but what do you expect). So take a ride to Vegas and check it out for yourself cause that's my spot when I'm in Vegas from now on.
