Once again, a few boneheaded women have to invoke the "he's looks a little suspect" talk...
I find it funny how some black women feel they're always attacked and stereotypes to be a certain way, yet when they act that way, it's perfectly fine.
He's a BLACK man, not only married to a BLACK woman, but a smart, beautiful, educated black woman and instead of celebrating a black couple keeping it together, a few of you have to play the "suspect" card.
What makes him so suspect? That he actually loves his wife enough to get over himself and do the necessary things to make his marriage work? Yeah, that's really gay.....
You know what I think? I think the woman who routinely come on here to label someone suspect are lonely, bitter, pissed off at the world for NOT having a man, jealous because this sister has a good man and that they wouldn't measure up to this woman.
Here's a tip: find a life instead of trying to label every man who doesn't fit your mold as "suspect"
Da*n BrutallyHonest, you hit the nail on the head. I'm sure a lot of brothas are getting tired of all this DL talk, as if all black men are closet gays. If a man is well manicured, has a little curly hair, or is articulate, right away he has to be gay, a sellout, or an oreo. A lot of bitter ignorant fools out there. The white man doesn't have to keep our race down. We're doing a good enough job all by ourselves.

There are some bitter confused black women (not all of them, by the way, just some) that read a couple E. Lynn Harris books and think they have black men figured out.
If we brush our teeth, use deodorant soap or take care of our feet for god's sake, we're gay.
Instead of just giving this couple a thumbs up, bitter, undateable, lonely women go at his sexuality.
Just think about this: This man is standing there with his beautiful wife and the post is about them reconciling, how does one's warped mind go to "he look a little suspect"?

Get over it... Damn. Black women aren't the only ones who gossip about a man being suspect. He looks good and could definitely get it. We can't say or do anything without race becoming an issue. Stop putting me and most sistas down because of what a few say or do. We are the only race that does that to each other. Wake up people.

I swear a friend I grew up with like my brother his mom died a cancer but he is close to our family... He is doing so well imagine he only went to RUTGERS UNIV & ended up on WALL STREET the dude is so sweet but sistas always say he too corny & act white from our college days. The dude makes $125G salary plus his bonus is always a minimum 500G because he's a broker.
I really feel like no matter how he tried these girls just made him feel out a place and he did end up with a white girl (she's in law school). SISTAS always say he is with her because he made it but truth is when he was broke he dated white girls he met her his senior year.

There you go generalizing too. Don't you think there are other educated, six-figure Black women wanting a man like that. Actually, there are more Black women than black men in that position. So all that is just a bunch of bull to me. Just an excuse for him to jusitfy his liking of white girls, which he is intitled to. But he don't need to come up with the scapegoat excuses by putting black women down.
Most of the women in my family and lot of the Black women I come in contact with are not with thugs and they far from it.
Where is the perception coming from that MOST or ALL Black women want thugs or a deadbeat? And do people not realize that a lot of women of ANY race like bad boys?
Why does what a few Black people do in any case, always have to speak for all of us?

I said SOME, not all, black women do this and isn't it true? Look no further than the posts. There are many black women giving the man props and wishing them well and there are some that have to call him "suspect".
I know you want to live in this fantasy world where black women can criticize black men and black men should just sit back and take it, but IT AINT HAPPENIN.

That man isn't suspect I know his baby momma and his wife is definately an upgrade from her, and furthermore blk women dont date smart educated brothas because they deem them as A) corny and they want a thug B)they just can't deal with a man of that caliber C) they moved on up and blk meat isnt on they menu anymore so they don't bother. I never looked at a well educated fine ass brotha and immeadiately say suspect or even good looking one, with muscles, thats dumb and the biotches up here need to stop trippin...
MegRai u are right more sistas makin six figures. In fact the firm he works for hasn’t hired a black man since him but they hired 4 sistas since he started. Which is a good look as he did say one of them kind of is always looking his way so he’s not sure what to make of it. Besides he doesn’t want to approach caz she could just be looking out the window. But I do have my fingers crossed cause he chats about her a lot so I know he is “feeling” her.
Maybe I didn’t explain myself but my point is BROTHAS come in all shapes, SIZES (wink, wink), Complexion, and such. Thugs not thugs, tall/short, fat/fit, educated/not so much, rich/regular, children/no children, etc. etc. We should just appreciate them regardless not always want to put them down as we all can’t be the same & life would be boring if we all were.
ALSO Stop telling our kids they act white because they play golf not b-ball or joined the chess team… It starts in school and then we push our kids away. Can’t we all just love our diversity and teach our kids the same.
