: It seems that mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is very serious about becoming an actor. How serious, you ask. Well MediaTakeOut.com is hearing whispers that the founder of Bad Boy Records is set to go on a series of auditions - one for the lead in a big budget action film.
A person familiar with the details told MediaTakeOut.com, "The director requested that [Diddy] come in and read for the role .. it's early, but so far things are looking good."
You gotta give it to Diddy - whether it's music, or fashion, or now acting - everything he touches, turns to gold....
I am sorry ya'll but I gotta hate. this is ridiculous. He doesn't have any talent. He can't rap, he can't sing, now he is gonna prove he can't act too. Yeah, u go Puff. Go make some money off some one else. Since you screwed everyone in the music biz I guess you gonna show hollyhood how ya gets down. What he need to do is give Biggie moms and all them other artists they're publishin, real talk.
Diddy making this look too easy. But as far as setting his acting career up he did it the right way, he paid his dues by doing broadway, small parts and a real movie like raison in the sun, he brings attention and hype to all that he does, he can put butts in seats, his acting isnt all that impressive but im sure he is trying to get good.
Diddy is an EXCELLENT business person, but a TERRIBLE actor. If he wants to try for an action role, no problem. You do not have to be a good actor if you are supported by good special effects and minute-to-minute action scenes.
However, Diddy has no ability to perform in classic movies. Specifically, Diddy's role in the play "A Raisin in the Sun" was terrible. Many people said he did great. Obviously I disagree. People must watch the original "Raisin in the Sun", Sidney Poitier's role was no joke. And it was not because of the writing (although the story line is incredible), but is because of Mr. Poitier's amazing ability to portray his character.
I am not denouncing Diddy. Not many actors are on the level of Mr. Poitier. Several who come to mind are Forest Whitaker, Gene Hackman, Laurence Fishburne, Phylicia Rashad, Debbie Allen, Edward James Olmos, Denzel Washington and Louis Gossett, Jr..
If the movie industry is on the track set buy the rap industry. "Back in the day" we had entertainers such as Run DMC, Fat Boys, Whodini, Heavy D, Salt N Peppa and BDP. Now look at the current entertainers.
This man jacked up A Raisin In The Sun. Why r these people letting clown's starring in movies. Diddy's acting is worse in Fantasia's. They thing couldn't play herself in the movie "Life Is Not A Fairy tale". Diddy please sit down for all the sake of America and concentrate on being able to close that little bitty mouth.
I say why not? In a culture where that no-talent skank Paris Hilton can get a movie, why not Diddy? I watched "Raisin in the Sun", he was excellent in his role and I'm no Diddy fan. People hate on him for doing exactly what white men in the music business have been doing for over 50 years: Getting rich off the talent he signed.
I thought he a did superb job in Raisin In THe Sun TV movie. I respect Diddy's business savy to the highest peak of respect.
He doesn't let anyone tell him what he's worth, HE SHOWS YOU WHAT HE'S WORTH! I wish rhe best for his acting career!
His hustle game is deep and he does it with style, Do your thing Diddy.
LMAO@Sheroyal NOT "The Fake THESPIAN" your crazy with that one. Thats what they need to start calling these terrible singer/actors. Who are they trying to fool? The PR people think if they tell us they are good 100x and write enough stories about their made up skills we are going to believe them. When the proof shows in their work or lack of it. The "Black" singer/actor thing is old and rarely produces any breakouts that are nothing more than forced on us by the studios. The singers struggle trying to do their day jobs which the people have responded by not running out and buying their music why would they want to force them on us on tv for hours and watch their 4 in video is hard enough. I have no clue who told the white people if they attach a music star to a movie black people will automatically go and see it. We all are not that stupid and easily influenced.

I am SOOO sick of these music people being hailed as talented actors. They aren't!!! It isn't just Diddy, it's all of them. Acting is not about frowning up and talking loud. They're cheapening the art, getting people used to mediocrity. It's almost as if the movie industry is just trying to sell tickets based on name recognition. Diddy is not an actor--at all--not now, not ever. He is a GREAT businessman and producer, bar none!! But, the acting is, clearly, just something for him to do.
But, real talent is out here. Real actors, real artists are out here. I back mine up. Watch me do my thing at www.youtube.com/themichaelmayshow
Realness is on the way--about to knock out ALL the fakes.

One morning in front of the mirror, MochaDWart notices a wart on her forehead. By the evening it’s grown larger, and the next morning even larger.
Fortunately it’s Friday evening by then and no one from MTO is there to notice her awful predicament. But to her horror the wart gradually takes the shape of a frog – and it even starts to make chirping and ribbit sounds. So by Sunday evening she is desperate, calls her VET at home and begs for an early Monday appointment.
She walks into the doctor’s office intent on explaining the situation.
Before she can utter a word, however, the frog bursts out: “Hey Doc, could you burn this wart off my ass?”
The Best Ever
What was so terible about it? I felt the part when the dude took off with his money! I actually got drawn in and was pulling for him to get that money and carry out his masterplan. If he was a terrible actor I wouldn't have cared if he got ripped off. THAT'S CALLED REAL ACTING.
I don't jump on bandwagons and agree someone screwed up just because people don't like the person, or the person isn't popular. I think for myself, looks like you should too.
As i said it earlier...please Diddy ...enuff..your BEST acting was in Monster's Ball...you died 15 min later..no dialogue nothing, you just looked down we couldnt study your emotions or whatsoever...but a Raisin.,..it was a MESS...Puff could not even look at the camera and it looked real...goddamn...better yet go fix them jigsaws you call teeth.
@Africanbro......is that your grandson? I hope he bust one em bullets into ur head.
