I'm vagina friendly too. That's how we're bred in New Orleans. To all of the people that questioned his performance during hurricane Katrina, that goes deeper than what's seen on the surface. The governor was slow in getting responding to his requests. This was b/c she was mad that he endorsed the republican candidate @ the time of her election. She still won but always felt as though he should've endorsed her since they are both democrats. Thats why responses were slow. As far as evacuating the citizens, a mandatory evacuation was issued. Some chose to stay behind & others didn't have the means to evacuate. Our local government isn't financially stable enough to evacuate the number of people that needed help. The state nor federal government didn't offer assistance until after it was too late. Then everyone magically had buses & helicopters 2 send. As for the young lady asking why is he in public office, he's there b/c he cares & he's not your typical politician. I bet your b!tch @$$ mayor would have resigned or committed suicide. B4 he was mayor he made over a million a year as CEO of Cox communications. He only makes 125k a year now. He funded his own campaign during his 1st election. We need more leaders like him. SO mayor Nagin if you're reading this KEEP BEFRIENDING THE VAGINA as I will also. N.O.=Chocolate city 4ever. |

This disgusting DOG. I can't stand him. When he should have stood up and made it mandatory that all citizens of New Orleans go to the convention center, he said nothing. The amount of damage and lives that have been lost is directly on his head. Sure Bush had no intention of coming to our rescue, if at all but things did not have to be as devastating as they were. Nagin, knew the storm was coming. He knew the severity of it. Again, he should have demanded ALL citizens be evacuated to the convention center. Also, before any citizen entered the center it should have been equipped to handle an emergency. Supplies such as medications, food,water, children needs, feminine products, basic toiletries and communication devises. Sincerely, I don't care for anything this man has to comment on. LIVES HAVE BEEN LOST. |

Just to make it clear, it says, "Nagin made the remark while welcoming the author of the Vagina Monologues, Eve Ensler to the city to promote the “V-Day” celebration in New Orleans next month"
This is not a nasty freak show event. It promotes raising money for women in 3rd world countries who are being abused, and for women in the US who are facing problems with domestic violence, unplanned pregnancy, and women's rights.
I think it is fantastic that New Orleans is trying to be Vagina Friendly because it means that he is taking strides to fix his mistakes by supporting other causes. |

Hey so what if you have a lot of people from N.O. in ya cities (DATRUTHHURTS). Shyt, ya'll been coming to our city, tearing it up ([EXPLETIVE], fighting, fu*king, and vomiting in da street and shyt...f*cking rookies) for years now. We never complained. I would loose count of all the damn out of state lic. plates out there especially GA. and TX. (the main mofos complaining!) and LAWD HAVE MERCY don't let it be bayou classic, mardi gras, or essence festival. They flood the N.O. like it's no tomorrow (their dumb asses would be drunk in the middle of the street hollering, fighting, getting naked and shyt) That's not natives from the N.O. we are used to that, that's the [EXPLETIVE] visitors (white, black, and latino alike). Also, you never minded being around all those "[EXPLETIVE]" when you were running your asses out to the N.O., but now that we're in your cities it is a problem. I know one thing for sure, I never worried about no one kicking my door in, or breaking in my car/stealing my car as much in the N.O. as I do in Atlanta (not on some random shyt - maybe occasionally if times real hard for alot of folk). I know that happens every where, but it seems that's all they do here. They are merking lil babies and old ladies out here! and it's these fools from the fu*king suburbs...who don't even know real struggle yet they are out their gang banging, going home at night to two and three level suburban homes with two parents in the homes, and go out the next day and cause pure mayhem claiming they're thugged out...FOR F/U/C/K/I/N/G WHAT????? As long as you mind ur damn business, and don't try to get over on no one you're good in the N.O. (we are very hospitable folks). Most crimes in new orleans are retaliation crimes (u just fu*ked with the wrong person) not this stupid ass random shyt. ya'll do that shyt in ATL. I'm not from the hood, I'm a college grad (psych degree), and very intelligent might I add...I say that to say that not every person from the N.O. is poor and uneducated...I didn't understand a damn word ya'll were saying in ATL either. We at least complete our words and sentences...AND they called Louisiana dysfunctional! I work with the youth in GA (no I was not run out by the storm either, I still own a residence in the N.O. I'm simply here on business and can't wait to go home), and boy do they need alot of help (educationally). So, we may have our issues in Louisiana, but from what I see so does everybody else! So get your shyt together and fix self and everything will be ok! AND stop blaming your crime on people from N.O. I know folks personally who were victims of robberies and shyt when they arrived in Texas and Atlanta because you [EXPLETIVE] thought they had FEMA MONEY!!!! My cousin was robbed twice the first day he was in houston. A chick I met in Houston while visiting family admitted to me her ex-boyfriend beat three seperate charges by putting them (specifically) on dudes from the N.O., and the folks went with it just because they were from the N.O. I personally was harassed and pulled over by the Houston police, and again five hours later by Houston and Harris County police just because I had Louisiana plates! (I know because they told me so) Some of my people are still catching PURE HELL out there. A Portion of you are taking advantage of them, half are blaming them, and very few are helping them????? But hey, that's the world we live in....so sad |
