Halle's decision to have a baby with this white dude is just a further attempt to capitalize on her post-Monster's Ball image.

Before Monster's Ball she was in Strictly Business, Jungle Fever, BAPS, etc. and largely appealed to black audiences...She was married to and dating Black men. She said to hell with that, took the Monsters Ball role (And did God knows what else behind the scenes on the producer's casting couch), laid down with Billy Bob Thornton and won an Oscar and because a mainstream star. I think having a little blond baby is just her way of cementing that mainstream status. She could have found a black "baby daddy" if she wanted to, but that would not be in line with the current image she is going for.

She's not alone....the J'Los and others of the entertainment world do it too...But lets stop praising her long enough to call this what it is.
