If an actor is serious abouttheir work (and particularly playing the role of a LEGEND such as Etta James who is still alive, by the way...) it is not at all uncommon for them to stay in character off and on the set, on camera or off. It has everything to do with being professional and wanting to give the best, honest performance and portrayal of the character in question. So in order to pull this off, the actor will adopt the persona of the character until the film wraps. It's called 'staying in the zone'. I myself am curious to see just how good she is in this film. And in the future, when Y'all are having a slow day with respect to gossip, you should not even dignify stupid-@ss stories by publishing them; it doesn't do much for your credibility which is suspect to begin with.....

Well, to be honest She is not a very good actress, She needs to do as much as possible to try and improve, like taking taking etiquette and speech classes on top of more acting training. WHO *** did she suck to get that part. First Etta James was a big country girl she is not the Tina Turner or the Diana Ross, more like Aretha Shaka Kahn type. She started singing on the road early in life like 13 years old. She was on the road and tours with Sam Cooke and other great artists. Etta has a great biography, B. should have read that, its a tell all about those time. Ms. James was also was hooked on heroin. I wonder if she is going to play that part,or will they omit it. Anyway she was an awful choice for this part. There are better singer/actresses out there. Jill Scott would have killed this role. Since she already is a real soul singer, not a botty shaker.
