: We know that y'all heard the rumors about rapper Shawty Lo (formerly of d4L) just like we here at MediaTakeOut.com did. There's been a lot of talk for the past few weeks that rapper Shawty Lo had the monster. Well, now Shawty's people have come out to address those rumors.
Here's the official statement from Shawty Lo's people:
After much public speculation and most of it untrue, it became apparent to publicly state that Carlos Shawty Lo Walker is not infected with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. He does however suffer from Diabetes, a serious condition that affects millions of people, particularly those of color. Despite occasional set backs, Shawty Lo continues his rigorous work schedule in support of his debut album Units In The City. He appreciates the outpouring of concern and support for his health but he is doing fine.We just gonna hope they telling the truth and keep it pushin ....

hun, I'm grown, so me going to any event to see a rapper is unheard of. I just find it fuk'd up for other people to put him on blast like that, did he actually make a public announcement in the A that he in fact has HIV? I doubt it, so all these are assumptions until it is a proven fact. And if there are any females in the A going around saying this, how do they know? Did he give it to them? I grew up in Bowen Homes and the cult that ran with him aka D4L was persona non grata. Lo would have a chick,tire of her and pass them on to his boys.
